jvmiller (291), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Jun 17, 2007 Updated: Apr 26, 2008 Wonderful aroma, a full bouquet. Smell of pine, citrus, grapefruit. Color is a nice ruby orange, small off-white cream head. This beer is full bodied and wonderfully balanced. A solid hop presence--piney and citrusy, but nicely balanced with a malty backbone. This is by far the best IPA I’ve ever had, and something I keep coming back to.

Light Amber in color and just make me think it would be the best sea fairing bear for the summer. Plenty of hops and the right kinds for me. Maybe Simcoe/Cascade and I dont know what else. I know it’s 3 kinds though. Grapefruit, Orange and a slight citrus tinge is in their. mwelsh13 (194), Maryland, USA Oct 9, 2008 12 oz bottle poured medium golden color with a fluffy white head. Floral and citrus hop aroma. Slightly smokey body. Some honey and biscuit in the body with a medium citrus hop bitterness. The body was slightly thin,. Don’t get me wrong, a great IPA, but from all the hype, it was not what I was expecting. KornDogg (31), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2008 HOPS... mmmm... great earthy flavor with a touch of citrus...orange perhaps... hoppier then most, but not as hoppy as Unearthly... which might be a plus for some Swolf3 (99), Elkton, Maryland, USA Oct 7, 2008 Mini keg shared by Robert at Stateline. Thanks for this one. Poured a nice clear amber color with decent head. Strong aroma of citrus fruits, orange, honey, and very nice sweet hop. Flavor is well balanced with pine, fruits, orange, and malt. Finish is very smooth, crisp, and flows right down. Delicious. Thanks Robert! Gurst (328), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Oct 7, 2008 Sweet citrus notes: lemon, orange, grapefruit. Some sugar cookie, toast, and flowers. Body is fairly full for an IPA. End is dry, with light alcohol aftertaste.
