Pours a cloudy orange with a small foamy head. Aroma is fruity & sweet but more than balanced by pungent floral hops. The taste is wonderful - medium crystal malt in such a quantity as to give great character and balance to the excellent hopping - very doughy and heavy but not cloyingly sweet. This has a great body, thin but not too thin, and decent carb. I have never tasted such a balanced, full-bodied IPA.

Oct 9, 2008 12 oz bottle poured medium golden color with a fluffy white head. Floral and citrus hop aroma. Slightly smokey body. Some honey and biscuit in the body with a medium citrus hop bitterness. The body was slightly thin,. Don’t get me wrong, a great IPA, but from all the hype, it was not what I was expecting.

Oct 7, 2008 Mini keg shared by Robert at Stateline. Thanks for this one. Poured a nice clear amber color with decent head. Strong aroma of citrus fruits, orange, honey, and very nice sweet hop. Flavor is well balanced with pine, fruits, orange, and malt. Finish is very smooth, crisp, and flows right down. Delicious. Thanks Robert!

Oct 7, 2008 Sweet citrus notes: lemon, orange, grapefruit. Some sugar cookie, toast, and flowers. Body is fairly full for an IPA. End is dry, with light alcohol aftertaste.
