India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Bottle: Thanks to Ramenen, the highlight of the Father´s Day dinner sample series! The only thing I can critique is the label, you wouldn´t know you´re drinking a 100% IPA by looking at it! Full, potent, well balanced overall great.

Can sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. A bit hazy light copper with small off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, citrus, a bit cheesy, some maltiness. Nice hoppy flavor, grassy, citrus, rosemary, a bit malty, medium bitterness, "green". Light carbonation, medium-bodied.

Pours copper with a beautiful, lazy and foamy white head that clings well. Sweet aroma with a mild soapy essence, pine and just a hint of citrus. Very mild effervescence and hoppy bitterness are well in tune with the malted sweetness evident here. This is a brew ahead of the hop craze, with plenty of true hop strength but still very drinkable and well in balance. Finishes rich on the tongue and lingers. A great brew without the excess of some other IPAs (although there is certainly room in the world for them too :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2014 Really excellent crisp and refreshing IPA. It had been a long time since I had one of these and I’m very happy I did. For 7% the alcohol is well hidden.

Aluminum can from SBL: Poured with a thick frothy layer of foam head while a golden brass colored liquid rested below. The aroma is mild with enough earthy hops and bready malts come through to please my nose. The drink is bitter and fruity and taste like a well balanced IPA between the bitter grapefruit and pine flavors combined with a sourdough bread spread with butter which harmonizes the beer. Really happy to any Bells in so cal that I haven’t seen before.

One of my favorites. Sharp hoppy flavor with nice depth. Equally good bottled or on draft.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a medium golden amber with a white head that lasts forever. Mostly floral and piney aromas with a hint of malt character. Hops abound with a sweet finish. Acquire. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appeance: Little haze. Just a little, like you can see the stars but not the milky way. Light gold brown. Little white head. Aroma: Like I’m out in the pasture, running around naked, the smells of the farm. Ripe -- beat up 1 day old fruit, a generic fruit. Tagline: It slows life down, you want it to endure. Drrjrr: That one’s better, it kind of burns the nostrils. Smell neutralized by sniffing baby’s head.

Very good aroma with floral and sugar cane, medium light golden color, normal bitter for ipa, taste good not too dry, just right texture, great taste for price
