Three people brought Two Kilts Scottish Ale. It tasted much better out of the growler vs bottle. We're guessing the retail stores are letting the bottles sit out.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A Scottish / Wee-Heavy Ale, disguised as an IPA. It has that normal Scottish wet Band-Aid taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22. Thanks, A! Pours a cloudy dark amber with a creamy tan head that goes away. Big sweet malty nose, showing toffee, bread dough, brown bread, caramel, and hints of peat and molasses. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Bread dough, toffee, brown bread, caramel, tiny hints of peat and molasses on the mid palate. Soft sweet finish. This is one of those beers that’s absolutely right on point, especially for the style, but is so mild mannered that it will probably be overlooked by a lot of us.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gotta try a scottish ale from a place called Two Kilts! Pretty porotypical (non wee-heavy) scottish ale. Fruits, carmel and peat on the nose and flavor. I prefer the bigger ones, but this was solid."

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Dark deep and dirty caramel.   Somewhat of a bready, nutty, and figgy nose.   Peaty on the tongue, very bready, nutty, lots of muted toffee and caramel with a smidgen of smoke and campfire.   Better than expected.   Moderate example, yet solid.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Lingering breadiness and malty smokiness.   Pretty darn good!

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours really dark orange with a slight, transient beige/tan head. Light smoky malt aroma. Med body or better. Smooth slightly treacle heavy malt with some smoke/peat notes. It’s incredibly smooth. Not sure about any hop. :)

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bottle bought from "Capital Market" in Salem.
Pours a nice chesnut brown, clear, with a lovely thick and frothy light cream coloured head.
Aroma is a little subdued but mostly caramel malts and some nuttiness.
Supremely balanced and malt driven ale as expected for style, caramel, brown demerara sugar notes, some tobacco and earth and a touch of ash..excellent stuff.
Very nice smooth mouth feel..goes down an absolute treat.
Very good approximation of a 70 shilling ale..although the alc is a touch on the high side.
