Pours a slightly hazy copper from a bottle. Biscuity caramel aroma and flavor, big mouthfeel and very sweet. Okay beer.

Pours hazy red-amber with a 1-finger tan head. Aroma of toasted malt with a bit of a nutty note. Body is medium and lightly syrupy. Mild booziness to the finish. Flavor of toasted malt with some biscuit. Nutty and caramel-sweet malt notes as well. An herbal note appears as it warms, and lingers in the finish.

Thin wispy head of foam that reduces to almost nothing with light carbonation. Strong malty aroma wirh some roasted grains, biscuits, ripe fruit and some light spices. Color is a deep mahahony brown. Tangy malt flavor with a hint of sourness. Not necessarily a bad thing as the sourness just makes the mouse salivate for more. Dominant malts, more dark fruit and roasted grains. Nothing much jumps out. Finishes soft malts and a mild alcohol presence. An ok brew.

Tap into a pint. Beer and glass are to cold. Scant head, darker wood brown color. Unfortunately I?m getting more chlorine, I presume from whatever they’re cleaning with, than beer aroma. In the mouth, cold is reducing flavor, but vague sense of a light brown ale. Medium malt, no particular spices, barest hint of hops. Fast and quickly fading finish. Should probably let this warm up and try again, but time won?t allow that.

22 ounce bottle. Dark Amber with a large frothy beige head. Faint bready malt aroma. Flavor is toasted malt with notes of caramel and baked bread. Some notes of red fruit and toasted nuts. Some spicy hops in finish. Dry bitter notes in aftertaste. Lacks complexity, but OK overall.

Rated as a Biere De Garde, this was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a dark hazy red to auburn color with a slim one finger white to slim laced foamy head. The smell has a nice sweet malty to bitter rye profile up front with a fairly decent underscore of spicy rye to sweet rye, nice for the most part. The taste was moderately sweet with a nice balance to the spice of the rye to slide right on into the aftertaste and into the finish nicely. On the palate, a nice gentle smooth rye sweet clean feel slides over my tongue very nicely. Overall, well, if anything, I liked it for me, but I will say, yes, it is a bit maltier for a Biere De Garde for the most part. Still, I could see myself having again.

Nice dark red color. Very bready taste. Light spices and vinegar malt. Not sour, but old funk. Like a fruit bread that sat out open for days. Not bad, but not something I would go for again. Tap

Bomber from Spirits Manahawkin. Poured a super deep slightly reddish amber with a smaller tight foamy light beige head. Aroma of bad chocolate malts, nut shells, dough, old sugar. Flavor basically follows. Body is fine, average all around with decent carbonation and an average duration on the aftertaste. Overall though sort of blah.
