The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

Flavors don’t live up to the earthy and citrus hop aroma. Body and mouthfeel are a touch light. Bitter finish fades to quickly

Bottle, bottled 19/06/14. Pours a straw yellow with a stylish and small, white head. Aroma is citrus, some passionfruit and grapefruit, light sweet mandarin. Taste is a bit thin and watery with hop flavors dominating. Citrus, grapefruit, mandarin, light mango. Long aftertaste. Fairly light and thin, but also very refreshing. Pretty nice really. Leave the yeast out.

355 ml bottle. Pale golden body with a big, creamy white head. Aroma is rather mild with citric fruit and spices. Rather light in taste as well, medium sweet pale malt, fruity, slightly fruity acidic and moderate in bitterness. Medium to light body and a bit short in aftertaste. A bit to plain and one dimensional.

12oz can: this one pours a cloudy, straw yellow color. There was a bit of a frothy white head that left some lacing. The nose is decent, even though a little subdued. Citrus and wheat are the main notes. A slight spiciness. The taste is good. Just a bit of a citrus hop bite, with a little wheat in the background. Slightly spicy and peppery. A nice beer!

Very soft wheat aroma, much less hop character than expected. Light but present fermentation aromas, refined malt development though. Nice hazy looks, and the carbonation to match, but less interesting aroma than I hoped. Taste is better, well developed and very nice palate overall. So very yummy in the end! (Bottle from Bière Révolution)

Bottle... Cloudy yellow pour with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Excellent retention. The aroma is mostly fruity - cantaloupe and other melons, some lemon, grapefruit - with a trace of farmhouse spice. Light to medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. The flavor yields acute citric and tannic hop bitterness. Bright, moderately bitter, dry finish. Not one of my favorite styles of beer. Bottle courtesy of BriceNice!

On tap at Beer Temple. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of melon, lychee, very fruity, cloying. Flavour is light hoppy, fruity, melon, some pineapple, light wheat, light bitter finish. Light-bodied. Meh.
