COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

Flavors don’t live up to the earthy and citrus hop aroma. Body and mouthfeel are a touch light. Bitter finish fades to quickly

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2016 Personal rating 5444, BTLD 04/04/16. Nose lightly grainy but under a big splash of orange citrus, tangerine; a little wheat, lemon, honey. Pours sickly pale yellow, hazy with a hint of Ecto Cooler, and a rocky bright white head. Taste medium-strong bitter with resin, very dry, but still that redemptive orange-tangerine citrus bomb on the soft wheaten backdrop. A hint of spiciness/black pepper, grainy, crisp full body (almost too full). Quenches, and works, but a bit of a mish-mash. [2016.06.14: 3.2]

Sympathique. Pas bouleversante mais honnête, équilibrée. Florale sans grand houblonage.

Hazy yellow with bubbles and small white head. Weak lemony aroma. Light body. Flavor is lightly sweet, citrus and yeast. Drinkable but kind of boring.

I had it from the bottle. The taste is hops, biscuit, honey, and herbal. There was a decent balance. It was refreshing and pretty flavorful.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Aroma is strong melon, pineapple, other fruit, mild pine/resin. Appearance is cloudy yellow with finger-width white fizzy head with decent retention, tons of sparkle and nice lacing. Taste is surprising amount of pine up front over fruit. Some spiciness that must be from the American ale yeast. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average to lively carbonation and dry, lightly bitter finish. Overall, a nice refreshing white IPA that is not your classic IPA.

12 oz can. Pours hazy golden with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrusy, perfume hops, bready malt and green apples. Body is full and crisp. Citrusy hops, bready malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and dry. Not the best brew in the variety pack.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is a mix of tropical and citrus fruits, hoppy and malty, some wheaty notes, some, grapefruit and satsuma, pine needles, light herbal and grassy hoppy bitter finish.

Very nice light hazy color. A very citric aroma; I get tangerine and lime. Slightly spicy, but a hop spicyness. Balanced and gentle flavor, with the light malts and wheat balanced against delicate bitterness and hop flavor, which follows the aroma perfectly. A delicate IPA, unlike many american versions, that achieves better balance and harmony. Nevertheless, I give a lower grade as I did expect more hop aroma, even if the flavor and bitterness are enough.
