3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Flavors don’t live up to the earthy and citrus hop aroma. Body and mouthfeel are a touch light. Bitter finish fades to quickly

Nice version of the IPA, not too heavy or strong, almost has as sweet taste to it. Golden color, no mentionable aftertaste, a pretty good combo

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Odd brew, pours a very light and cloudy yellow. Aroma has a great smell of hops right off the bines but also has a strange rubber eraser aroma. Very thin with little maltiness. Not particularly enjoyable but maybe just an off day. I’ll revisit to be sure!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
10.5.2014. Hazy yellow with large noticeable pieces of yeast. Aroma of wheat, yeast, spices and citrus. Tells its out of standard category beer. Taste has lemon, yeast, wheat, hops, some fruits. Also sth else, is it honey? Its some kind of belgian-hefe-ipa hybrid.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(bottle, 35.5cl) Slightly hazy, yellow-golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Citrus-fruity, yeasty and slightly mineralic wheaty aroma with a tinge of lemon peel and delicately peppery spicy notes. Mildly bitter and delicately sweet flavour, rather slim bodied with a moderate, if not a tad tame carbonation. Malty, moderately wheaty base with yeasty and citrus-fruity notes, shades of biscuits and pepper; dry and mildly bitter hoppy finish with citric and discreetly lemony notes. 25.I.15

Flaska från Craftbeer/Galatea. En gyllengul, disig, frisk ganska fruktig lättdrucken IPA. Lite syrliga äpplen, lime, aprikos, vete och tallskott, lätt beska, bra balans, rena smaker. Trevlig.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy straw from a bottle. Nose is of piney hops, with something vegetal in the mix. Flavor is a floral bitterness, but not overly hoppy or bitter like many IPAs, somewhat mellow end to the mouthfeel. Good beer.

Hey, what happened? I just tried a November 2014 bottle after about a year, and something has changed. Or maybe it’s me. Hop profile has settled down significantly, it’s on the border of being overcarbonated, the yeast strain doesn’t give you the banana and clove that it used to in order to balance out the brew. It used to be spiced up on all fronts, but isn’t anymore. Not to worry, Two Roads has many new exciting additions to taste, but the Honeyspot used to be one of it’s best.
