The Two Roads interpretation of this emerging beer style naturally takes a road less traveled. Unlike other versions, ours employs an American ale yeast and no spices. The result is a soft wheat backdrop that accentuates the Pacific Northwest hop character.

A good solid IPA. Could have used more flavor. Slightly above average finish that is bitter but short.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Fruity, some citrus and lighter pine. Thinner and for me, rather boring.

12oz bottle dated 08/18/15. Picked this up at Julioís last week. Should pay more attention to dates. Pours yellow gold with a big white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, mild dank. This is light and easy drinking. Crisp wheat backbone with mild lemon, lime citrus and pine hop. Drinking pretty well after 4 months.

12oz can via brew bus variety pack. Pours a hazy yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of fresh orange, tangerine, lemon, and honey malt. Taste of wheat and pale malts, lots of fresh citrus zest, some sour lemon pulp, and a bitter sappy finish. Iím a fan

12oz can from Ed, thanks Elegant Ed. Poured a hazy deep straw yellow body with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus, lime and lemon peel, dusty, grains, vanilla candle. Flavor is far flatter, crust, grain husk, dry grass, a hint of spice and finishes with newspaper. Slightly bigger body with aggressive carbination and a lingering dry finish. Meh.

When poured, itís a little flaky, but given that Iím not generally big on IPAs, I rather enjoyed this because its floral tones arenít as prominent as most others like it. Itís brewed with grapefruit, and it can be smelled and tasted.

Really just a very unpleasant ale, overhopped for the completely absent malt profile. I LOVE IPAs in general, and I am a fan of Belgian ales, Witbier in particular. I guess I just donít appreciate this style, and as a homebrewer and overall fan of most beer styles I am surprised to be so negatively opinionated here. Really just no redeeming qualities, I expect to dump the rest of this 6-pack.

Can, much thanks to Ed. Pours out a decent cloudy golden color with a moderate fluffy white head. Aroma is of some light citrus, pine, wheat malt, light cracker. Taste is solid, decent amount of hops, light citrus zest, grass, lemon, some wheat malt, light sweetness. Easy drinking.
