COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

Dry finish. A little thin. A little over hopped for a pilsner. Drinkable but not great.

Pours a dark straw from a can with significant white head with medium bubbles. Aroma is slightly like moist leaves, flavor is crisp clean malt, covered over with a slightly mildewy blanket or something like that, just a little bit funky. Okay beer.

Bottle at home drinking with college buddy. Pale yellow with white head. Nose is faint grains and hops. Tastes of light hops, grains, hint of lemon, and grass. Fine simple pils

Pours a deep, slightly hazy gold. The aroma is a mixture of light bread and floral hops. It has a light to medium body and is moderately carbonated and has a slightly bitter finish.

Canned version. From a mix-pack. Poured into a glass. Slightly hazy golden brew. Many layers of bread. On the hoppy side for a pilsener, but that’s fine. Lingering herbal bitterness.

Draught @ Albion. Looks bright yelllow with small foamy white head, malt aroma, crisp malt taste, high carbonation, slightly bitter taste, abrupt finish. Not very exciting but still drinkable.

Crisp herbal aroma with a hint of bread. Body is a clear golden with a thin soap bubbly head. Has a bold bitterness with light grain malt character. Hint of sourness in the finish.

27-MAR-2014, bottle @Papsø clear all tasting, @Amager Bryghus with Ulkløbben. Pale yellow with low White head. Aroma is weak straw. Taste the same with a touch of citrus. Clean but disappointing.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2015 My Bottom Line:
This suave Pils slowly develops herbal hops in a super clean, polished cereal profile.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A fleeting head of foam covers the shiny pale blond.
-This is like a hoppier Budvar. Few German Pilseners come to mind though...
-The flavor profile grew on me.
-A small touch of toffee appeared in the tap version, but not in the bottle.

Bottle and on tap at the brewery taproom.

Beautiful looking beer with nice hoppy aroma and soft white head. I’d prefer a little more maltiness to balance the bitter hops but overall a tasty beverage.
