Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

Bottle, thanks gregwilsonstl! Hazy light gold pour with a small white head. Nice crisp malt. Light grass. Just a bit of banana phenolic character hurts the nose a bit. Flavor’s pretty elegant. Dry, clean and easy drinking. Nice stuff.

Bottle shared by jackl @ the deyholla tick palace. Pours a hazy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is biscuits, some earthy hops. Taste is the same, crisp and refreshing. Very crushable.

12oz bottle thanks to Gregwilsonstl, pours a clear pale yellow with a large white head. Aroma of dry spicy grassy hops, yeast, and biscuit malt. Taste of dry bitter grassy hops with underlying yeast and malt, with a crisp finishing bitterness. Nice, a highly drinkable and well made Pilsner!

Bottle. Clear gold. Very crisp with a big hop profile. Lemon and grains stand out. Very obviously dry hopped. Light and great with heavy food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear , golden color. Nice, white head. Aroma of grain, hay and malt . Refreshing, hoppy bitterness in taste which doesn't leave to much space for malt . Good beer , though taste is too simple.

Cool-looking 12oz bottle into Spieglau IPA glass, it poured a crystal-clear straw colour, white foam, lasting with lace. Crisp and grainy with definite hop bitterness, nice grassy and peppery flavours and aromas. Hoppier and more aromatic as advertised, more like a classic German Pilsener than a predictably lame American adjunct lager. Possibly some rye bite? Light body, strong carbonation, subtle mineral water essence, lingering noble aftertaste. Very excited to finally tick Connecticut off the list, but this is a good beer in its own right, better than expected.

BTLD 08/19/15. Nose lemon and grass, leafy noble hops. Touch grain, sunshine, suggested vanilla. Pours rich, clear golden with a frothy bright white head. Taste crisp, grainy sunshine, not as much in the hops department; full body a bit too heavy for my conception of a pils, soft light-medium bitterness with dense and tight tiny bubbles. Clean, but very grainy. Bitterness very nice in the aftertaste and manages without turning bready. A touch of rind, hinting at paper, but the lemon returns. Light coating, not oily, closer to chalk, but again, light. Worthy of a try!
