COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

Draft @ the brewery. Served in a .4 liter glass, this beer has a clean, juicy and grassy hop flavor with a medium bready malt body. Notes of pepper and a gritty, dry mouthfeel. Pretty good.

on draft, clean and toasty. Some bitter hoppy flavors. This is decent but average.

New brewery. Old mastermind. Give him some flowers and seeds and a tank and let him work his magic. Immediate grand achievements in the "pale beer with depth and finesse" category -- pilsner, saison, and white ipa. Here with an Ol’ Factory Pils 12oz bottle. Right up there with Victory, Lagunitas, Oskar, or Sly Fox, with the hops being a shade less on the flavor factor and a shade greater on the drying factor. Wonderful slightly creamy center tapers long and lean to an unobtrusive clean herbiness. Guzzle in June. Bathe in July.

12oz bottle, received in a BIF from team New England. Pours a bright, straw yellow color with a white head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, cereal, light pine hops. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, a good dose of bitter pine hops, with a light bitter finish. A well hopped Pilsener.

Moderate fresh hop aroma. Clear golden color with a large white head. Mild gran beginning with a light bitter finish.

Draft at the Hartford airport. Classic pilsner visuals and a bountiful, perfumed aroma start this one off right! Crisp and snappy with a great continental hoppy bite. One of the better pilsners I’ve tried in some time. (#4919, 1/17/2013)

My first ’Two Roads’ brew and this doesn’t disappoint. I’m not a huge fan of the style, but this one is surprisingly good. Aroma is gentle hops and grain (I expected more hops in the nose, given the commercial description). Taste is grainy and light malts, a bit sweet and fruity, and finishes with a soft bitterness. Delicious and an easy drinker.

Pours clear gold with a thin white head. Smells of resin, perfumy with an earthy undertone. Tastes of dry malt, resiny, with a grainy finish.
