Traditional in concept with a Two Roads twist…dry hops. We use a combination of classic German as well as American hop and malt varieties in our Pils. We renovated a 100 year-old factory building and designed this Pils to have “extra” aroma…so, pardon the pun! Crisp…refreshing…refined.

Draft @ the brewery. Served in a .4 liter glass, this beer has a clean, juicy and grassy hop flavor with a medium bready malt body. Notes of pepper and a gritty, dry mouthfeel. Pretty good.

Clear , golden color. Nice, white head. Aroma of grain, hay and malt . Refreshing, hoppy bitterness in taste which doesn't leave to much space for malt . Good beer , though taste is too simple.

Cool-looking 12oz bottle into Spieglau IPA glass, it poured a crystal-clear straw colour, white foam, lasting with lace. Crisp and grainy with definite hop bitterness, nice grassy and peppery flavours and aromas. Hoppier and more aromatic as advertised, more like a classic German Pilsener than a predictably lame American adjunct lager. Possibly some rye bite? Light body, strong carbonation, subtle mineral water essence, lingering noble aftertaste. Very excited to finally tick Connecticut off the list, but this is a good beer in its own right, better than expected.

BTLD 08/19/15. Nose lemon and grass, leafy noble hops. Touch grain, sunshine, suggested vanilla. Pours rich, clear golden with a frothy bright white head. Taste crisp, grainy sunshine, not as much in the hops department; full body a bit too heavy for my conception of a pils, soft light-medium bitterness with dense and tight tiny bubbles. Clean, but very grainy. Bitterness very nice in the aftertaste and manages without turning bready. A touch of rind, hinting at paper, but the lemon returns. Light coating, not oily, closer to chalk, but again, light. Worthy of a try!

Pale, clear straw, persisting and tall head. Yeasty, floral nose. Light body and flavor, low heat but high carbonation, long finish. Very bitter, dry. Aggressively hoppy, floral, light malty background. Nice, if you like the style. Calls for light food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a cloudy orange yellow. Way over carbonated. Overflowed and spilled all over. Not happy. Taste is light with a bit of malt sweetness offset by peppery hop bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Xroads. Pourd a slightly deeper shade of clear gold with rising large bubbles and an average sized foamy white head. Aroma/flavor of crisp grains, toast, grapes, honey sweetness. Plus some straw and hay in the flavor. So far best beer in a few days, just nice crisp and clean.

Yellow and clear color, three finger white head. Very malt backbone, corny pilsner. Lemon zest. Decent pils, short duration and I wish it was more bitter.

Can. Gold with white head. Cereal, grass, citrus and tea. Medium mouthfeel and light carb. Decent.
