3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can at home. Bought at Wine Rack, West Byfleet. Tart rasberry aroma, not too much though. Looks like blood orangeade to me - the colour and the bubbles. Or melted sorbet. Pink tinged head soon leaves few traces. Bitter. In fact pretty sour. Medium bodied. Frothy. Dry finish. Has some punch to it. Not as rasberryade-like as similar examples of this style. Guess the lemongrass tones it down. Salty, tart finish. Interesting. Undecided as to what I really think of it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Can’t recall where from. Murky, pinky bronze. Thin, foamy, shiny, pink tinged head. Aroma of raspberry jelly. Raspberry Mivvi lollies. Light herb. Taste is quite dry, with some light, fruity sweetness. Light, crisp, dry mouthfeel. Finishes much the same, with an earthy, herbal bitterness to close. Nice one.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a moderately hazy brownish red with a small offwhite/lightly pink rim on top that leaves pretty much no lacing. Nose is of raspberries for sure, can’t say I’ve encountered the "kiss of lemongrass" though. Pungent? Not so much, too. Taste is dry (thank god!) and vaguely tart. Some light jammy impressions but without the sugar. Flavors aren’t really bright, pretty average so far... Body is light to medium and carbonation high. Alright but nothing to write home about...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - deep damson with a generous head which has a teeny hint of pink.
Nose - raspberry jam.
Taste - raspberries and strawberries. Less sweet and jammy than the nose.
Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish.
Overall - solid and interesting enough.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
DATE: July 6, 2016... OCCASION: a hot afternoon in need of a chill....GLASSWARE: Weihenstephan weizen... pours an opaque, ruby/purplish red that shows slight bubbles streaming upwards... a single finger of pure white head settles, with lily pad clusters on the surface... raspberries struggle with yeasty astringency for dominance; faint citrus suggests lemon or orange--not really engaging... lively and bubbly, while light and refreshing--a pleasure on a hot evening such as this... tart, almost sour to the point of puckering the lips; the raspberries and blueberries are big like a lambic, but the lemon and wheat cut the profile into a sessionable--though burp-inducing-- appertif... at 5% ABV, a nice evening starter that fits a certain atmosphere... not the best or worst of the tart, berried beers available, but its softness invites more sips than others, and the drinkability is winning... thus, the sum of this beer is greater than its parts...

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
sample at mondial de la biere, mtl. hazy pink-orange with a very nice light pink cap offering some retention and lacing. grassy and leafy astringency, tart citric raspberries - controlled level of acidity; seeds, woodsy, lots of herbs. moderate carbonation, light body - watery; tart citric herbal-grassy finish. enticing and complex berry fruitiness, more or less jammy, but potently tart and astringent seediness.
