Bottle. Deep copper, thin, off white head, little retention, very clear. Pumpkin, rum, clove, cinnamon, vanilla on nose. Sorta tastes like watermelon off the bat but break it down and its rum then vanilla to start, and a long lingering pumpkin with citrus finish.

Pours chestnut in color with an off white lacing. The aroma is pumpkin pie spice I.e allspice and nutmeg. The rum is noticeable and contributes to the alcohol aroma that is present

Drought. Reddish dark amber with creamy beige head, pumpkin aroma, sweet pumpkin taste, low carbonation, long finish with pumpkins in your head! Too pumpkin-y if there is such a word.

Bottle. Pours a hazy and fairly deep orange-brown with a light head. Sweet aroma of pumpkin, vanilla, and spice. The flavor is similar, a little yeasty with lots of pumpkin and vanilla, and notes of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. A nice example of the style.

Location: Draft at Swallow, 9/9/14

Aroma: The nose is full of cinnamon and autumn spice, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, and a little oak
Appearance: It pours a darker orange color, almost mahogany, with a beige head on top
Flavor: Tastes much like the nose, it leans sweet, but with plenty of spice to keep some balance
Palate: The body is medium, it has a smooth, clean feel, leading to a nice, long finish
Overall Impression: It’s starting to get cool enough outside for pumpkin beer (too bad they’ve been out for 6 weeks already). Sure is nice to drink the seasonals during the correct season (hint, hint). Anyway, I found this to be a rather enjoyable example of the style, it leans sweet, but not in such a way as to detract from the drinker’s enjoyment.

12oz bottle. Medium off-white head atop clear dark amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, allspice, some ginger, light rum. Taste is moderately sweet, allspice, some ginger, rum. Light-medium body, light stickiness. The rum complements the pumpkin spice nicely without overpowering.

Rum and vanilla in the nose.God balance of pumpkin and spice in the body. Finishes a bit odd, might be the sing.a better than average pumpkin beer

Bottled. Pours an orange ruddy color with a decent head. Aroma is pumpkin, vanilla, and perhaps a woodiness. Flavor is pumpkin, vanilla, and a definite toastiness. The rum barrels add a certain element of woodiness, and almost a sourness that I can’t quite describe.
