3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky golden brown with a small white head. The aroma is very hoppy with a hint of cinnamon. I couldn’t detect a pumpkin aroma. The taste was fair, pumpkin was noted along with a rum aftertaste. Overall, an average beer.

I have trouble distinguishing between pumpkin beers, so as long as it tastes like pumpkin without TASTING LIKE FUCKING PUMPKINS, I’m on board, and this beer accomplishes that.

pours brown with no head. Aroma of pumpkin spices, vanilla and caramel. Taste follows, i don’t get much of a rum barrel presence but its a decent pumpkin beer nonetheless

Thanks to Travlr for the CT rate and one hell of a pumpkin brew. Yep, it’s official. I like pumpkin beers, now. Like the other game-changers I’ve had this last year, Roadsmary’s Baby offers a whole bunch of real pumpkin taste with plenty of spices to go with. I can’t say the barrel-aging has added a lot of complexity, but I can’t complain considering the extremely tasty pumpkin dessert flavors. Roadsmary’s Baby isn’t quite potent enough to immediately drop you into nightmares about giving birth to the devil’s pumpkin spawn, but you’ll notice this has more booze than your typical autumn pumpkin beer. The grains and the gourds can be friends. I’m glad I’ve come to see the light.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(Thanks, Gene! "Travlr")
A- Pumpkin pie, cinnamon, nutmeg, spices, subtle vanilla.
A- Amber color, hazy liquid, off white head.
T- Pumpkin pie, cinnamon, nutmeg, spices, subtle alcohol.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, long spiced finish.
O- Yum! Tasty! Delish! All of the above. This is a pumpkin beer done right. The pumpkin is balanced with everything else and the spices are diversed and not just a load of cinnamon or nutmeg but incorporates a plethora of spice nicely. Didn’t get a ton of vanilla, and any rum at all. Kind of wish they have played a bigger presence but no complaints from me on this one. Wish I had another!
