On tap at The Ginger Man, Greenwich, CT. A dark amber/orange coloured pour with a medium off white head on top. Pumpkin, spice aroma. Tastes of pumpkin, spice, a hint of rum, slightly sweet. Enjoyable pumpkin beer from this likeable CT brewery.

Bottle at home. Cloudy amber pour, minimal head. Aroma is funk, rum, mushroom, pumpkin, spices. Scrubbing carbonation. Tastes of rum, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, faint yeasty banana esters, light funk. Very abrupt and clean finish. Dry. Exceptional pumpkin ale, best of the season so far.

On draft at Bacchus. An interesting brew for sure - a rum barrel-aged pumpkin ale. The rum clearly adds something. There is light pumpkin & fair amount of spice in the flavor.

Pint at Sheraton Hartford Bradley airport bar. Good aroma sweet. Caramel and rum.Little pie spice. Tad hazed brownish orange color, good head, spottylace. Sweet flavor. Medium body creamy oily mouthfeel sweet finish. . It’s good. Falls short of what I feel the mix could be. Not enough rum or spice or pumpkin. Imo

12 oz bottle: This one pours a darker orangish-amber color. There was just a bit of an orange tinged head that didn’t linger or leave any lacing. Nice nose! Pumpkin and pumpkin spices predominate, but not over done. Bit of a good caramel malt poking thru. It has a good taste. Very malty, with just a bit of sweetness. Some pumpkin pie spices as well as some pumpkin. There is just a hint of the rum from the barrel aging noticeable. I like this one!

On tap at the Uconn football game: Pours dark brownish red with a thin offwhite head. Aroma is pumpkin, nutmeg, earth, leaves, and sugar. Taste is a little sweet, but isn’t a complete spice bomb like a lot of pumpkin ales. Medium body, medium carbonation, not too shabby.

Bottle. Deep copper, thin, off white head, little retention, very clear. Pumpkin, rum, clove, cinnamon, vanilla on nose. Sorta tastes like watermelon off the bat but break it down and its rum then vanilla to start, and a long lingering pumpkin with citrus finish.

Pours chestnut in color with an off white lacing. The aroma is pumpkin pie spice I.e allspice and nutmeg. The rum is noticeable and contributes to the alcohol aroma that is present
