COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Kolor jasny, złocisty. Piana jest ale szybko opada. Aromat fajny, przyprawowy typowy saison. Wysokie wysycenie. W smaku lekkie, pijalne. Lekka słodycz. Ogółem stylowy, ale nie porywa. w samku troche brakuję przypraw i teych wiejskich klimatów, mogłaby też byc wyższa goryczka.

[8068-20160130] 330mL bottle. Fruity lemon floral herbs aroma. Slightly hazy, pale yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Citrus and lemony floral flavour. Medium body. Good. (7/3/7/4/14) 3.5

Pours a slightly unclesr golden with a small white head that leaves some lacing. Nose is of pepper and slight sweet bread. Taste is quite dry with a slight fruity edge, otherwise it is mostly some pepper and some floury cereals. Body is light to medium and carbonation medium-medium-high. It doesn’t feel watery, though, just light and easy to drink. Overall a good saison that will not revolutionize anything but I did enjoy it nicely.

I had it from the bottle. The taste is citrus, other fruit, grassy, yeast, and some hops. The sweetness balances nicely with the subtle bitterness. It was refreshing. This is a nice spring beer.

Bottle. Cloudy straw yellow in the glass. Nose is barnyard, wet hay. Citrus start dry lemon through the tart sparkly finish. Decent beer for the start of spring.

Clear orange-tinted golden coloured body with a thin, single centimetre tall white head. Aroma of dry oak, grass, hay, flowers, yeast, coriander seed and a touch of corn noticeable. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and floral note up front with a mellow malt flavour with only some grass notes and a bit of very light hops. Aftertaste is relatively mild with some grass, herbs, hops and a faint bit of hay - not much going on here. Overall, a pretty subdued and very easy-to-drink saison with a nice, but very light profile - nice and simple to drink! I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle purchased from Beer Culture in New York (Midtown), New York on 27-November-2015 for US$3,00 sampled at home in Washington on 28-February-2016.

Bottle from a Lazy Dog Slightly hazy straw color with a smallish but short lived bubbly white head. Spicy yeast esters, light sweet bread faint earthy hops and a touch of funk. Light bits of citrus round this out. Pretty drinkable, not my favorite saison by any means but fairly well made.
