COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Bottle pour light gold. Nose strong sweet fruit peach, lychee, mango, floral, some light pepper. Taste again sweet fruit up front, then light clove. Mid palate light bitter. Nice mix in the finish, sweet and spicy. I like the mix of flavors. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy gold beer, good white head. Palate is airy and crisp. Mild minerals. Airy floral malts, just slight sweetness. Nice mild lemony citrus. Semi dry finish. A simple, clean and very drinkable saison. Nice job.

Golden with white head and visible carbonation. Hint of spice. Well balanced, a bit cloying but not much. Decent.

End of the day reward? How about after bottling beer? Belgian yeast, wheat, some grass, not quite what I expected. Sweeter and less dry for one. Taste is more my thing but I still am not impressed by the underhopped and fairly thin body. Bit of a disappointment. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
