3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jmgreenuk (1284) - The Hague, - OCT 1, 2012Bottle direct from the brewery. Poured a relatively clear light brown with a white, short-lived head. There is a citrus aroma with a hint of spicy bitterness, more reminiscent of a dry hopped IPA. The hops combine well to produce a nice, flavourful refreshing bitterness. I’m not sure what hops were used but the floral taste dominates this ale and lingers around on the palate for a short while too. This is a quality session ale that’s different enough from most other English bitters to make it attractive.
