COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic, unfiltered wheat beer is brewed with pure Badarian weissen yeast. The result? A deliciously smooth, sweet, South-German style ale reminiscient of the pure, simple days of old. Served with a slice of lemon, Old Town is sure to satisfy.

The first look of this beer was that it was unnaturally cloudy and chunky ... beyond what you would normally expect from a hefeweizen. The aroma was stank! Horrid smell of old washclothes! It was like something from my grandmother’s laundry room!! The taste was just an average hefeweizen by the putrid aroma prevented me from finishing it.

Hazed yellow pour with a creamy white head and lace. Aroma is wheat and a hinot clove. I get no banana at all. Wheaty flavor, some clove, and a bit of the dry tinge at the end. Thin and watery not very special.

From draft sampler at Two Rows in Allen, Texas (suburban Dallas) on July 24, 2011. Very cloudy yellow hue, spicy aroma heavy on the clove, sour/sweet flavor with some bitterness, light body, would be better if it was a little less watery.

On tap at the Allen location. Served with a slice of lemon. The beer pours a hazy straw color with a white head. The aroma is very strong banana, but I also get a little bit of clove. The flavor is overwhelmingly banana and is very sweet and syrupy. This tastes like a wheat beer with some banana extract poured in. Medium, creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nothing to seek out.

(draught) opaque golden color. Nose of wheat, mild clove and banana. Taste if spicy clove and cinnamon, bubblegum with a spicy somewhat refreshing finish.

Cloudy pour from tap at Two Rows in Allen, TX. Pillowy head. Banana, clove and yeast taste. Smooth as silk finish. Solid hefe, one I would drink again.

Pours a cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma of some banana and is grainy. Flavor is much the same with some nice wheatly malt notes. Mouth feel is light body with medium carbonation. Overall, a tasty little heff.

Hazy yellow orange appearance. Some citrus aroma. Taste is largely clove. A dry banana taste is quite apparent on the finish. Aroma also has some banana. Nice to have some taste with this one!
