COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ty Ku coconut sake is a premium imported nigori (cloudy) sake, infused with the all natural flavor of coconut. Silky texture with the refreshingly sweet taste of coconut & hints of vanilla.

Bottle from the Pennsylvania State Store at a cost of around $16. Loved the cloudy appearance and the unfiltered rawness. Taste is slightly irregular but unique enough to be interesting. Definitely worth a try.

Bottle with Linh and family while in Maryland 2014. Pours a cloudy milky creme colored body. Aroma is sweet banana and coconut. Mouthfeel is what I imagine a very "unbalanced" sake tasting like - flavors of pińa colada and overly sweet coconut juice clash with a cloying alcoholic booziness. Wasn’t a huge fan.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy off-white with tinges of beige-yellow. Nose is coconut tanning lotion, vanilla, rice. Sweet with some stone fruit notes, but the coconut still comes off like Hawaiian Tropic rather than real coconut; I don’t know whether to drink it or smear it on my shoulders. Finish is hot and continued fake coconut. Doesn’t work.

(bottle - 330 ml) Slightly cloudy clear color. Light coconut and banana popsicle aroma. Fermented rice sourness with a light hint of coconut and vanilla. Warming and not overpowering.
