3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bif (1023) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 11, 2012
From cask at the Globe. Served a copper color with a decent head that fades to lacing. Aroma of some citrus, bit of fruit sweetness and malt in the background. Taste is a mild caramel sweetness, bit of fruit and spice. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Fairly medium body, quite smooth. Nice balance. Enjoyable beer good for a few. Worth a try.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2012 Cask at The Globe, 07/28/2012. Copper pour, thin one-finger frothy head, nice retention. Aroma moderately malty,bread-like, mild fruitiness, English hops. Taste follows suit, not as sweet: caramel malts, mild bitterness. Medium thin body, low carbonation. Something nice to drink in Hong Kong.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dreamflower (344) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 27, 2012
Shared with northropfrye at the Globe in Hong Kong. Served warm, which was unusual for me. Still, it had a nice dark amber appearance, and a tasty bittersweet citrus taste. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Globe, Hong Kong. Orange/amber colour. Hoppy aroma. Not crazy bitter, some sweet fruitiness here. Quality beer.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 larsga (5325) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 20, 2012
Medium white head. Clear amber body. Faint orangey resiny aroma. Dry wooden resiny taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel with, predictably, low carbonation. Dry resiny orangey aftertaste with metallic spicy notes. It’s nice, but a bit harsh. (0.5l cask at The Globe, Hong Kong.)
