UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 Pours a clear, radiant ruby orange. Medium creamy white head, partially lasting with lace. Aroma is pretty balanced. Full of sweet and hoppy. Caramel, dense fruity, citrus, almost barley wineish. Flavor much the same, very hoppy, with some added pine. Full body. Oily. Fair bitterness. Pretty balanced finish. Sweet, bitter, dry.

Bottle. Pours an attractive deep amber with a small off white hed, decent retention. The aroma has a lot of piney, resiny hop notes and only a bit of the malty citrusy balance. The taste is fairly bitter, resiny, a bit of a sweet balabce but not overly citrusy.. more of a dry maltiness. Not crazy about it.

Pours deep amber, cloudy, with a small tan head. Baked bread, floral aroma. Taste is toast, pine, malt, herbal hops, sweet fruit. Nice steady bitter, caramel. Gets a bit syrupy towards finish. Very good.

8/12/13 bottle. Very floral IPA. Very bitter. I mean really damn bitter. touch of citrius nice smoth sweet malt back end. Usually I am not a huge floral hop fan but the bitterness mixes nicely on this.

Amazing aroma of floral hops and citrus. The taste has a big hop flavor as expected. There is also a equally nice malt flavor. Truly an exceptional beer.

On tap @ Stubby’s, Milwaukee. Deep orangey body, hazy, tightly packed off white head. Sticky oily hoppy body, mostly pine, is carried by sweet caramel malts. Long bitter finish. Excellent IIPA.

Somewhat cloudy copper/orange color with a 1.5 finger off-white head leaving lots of sticky lacing down the glass. Smells of tropical fruits, caramel malt and a little bit of pine. Nice citrus/tropical fruit hops hit the front of the palate. Loads of caramel/toffee sweetness balance this out in the middle and leaves a sticky piney bitter finish. Ver well balanced. Stick and well carbonated. Why is it brews with extreme names tend to be the most balanced? There are definitely lots of hops in this promiscuous beer, but the malts come close to balancing them out. A little bit too strong of a malt presence and a slight astringent aftertaste are demerits, but overall a good beer.
