Bottle thanks to buckybeer. Pours clear orange with medium head. Good lacing. Aroma of pine and perfume hops. Taste is big hops with a little bit of malt sweetness to finish, which keeps it from leaving a harsh aftertaste. Oh, so good.

Purchased at Steve’s in Madison. Enjoyed this and HopSlam with Thanksgiving dinner. Clearly this was the better of the two, and reminded me quite a bit of Dreadnaught. Pours a yellow/copper color with notes of mango, apricot, and citrus on the nose. Leads into a considerable hop bite, but not abrasive. Well crafted.

Sampled at Dutch 70’s "Tasting in the Woods; Part Deux". Clear copper with a white head. Very floral PacNW hop aroma (smells like Simcoe and Amarillo). Big caramel toastiness, heavy pine and grapefruit. Bitter and resinous. Full, round and creamy on the palate with moderate carbonation.

12 oz Bottle Coutesy of my Mother In Law. Citrus hop aroma on the nose. Darker cooper color body with off white head and some lacing. Got a good citrus grapefruit citrus flavor at the start. A malt presence appeared in the middle of beer that took away some crisp flavor. But it also held back a stong hop bitterness I’ve found in some of these imperial’s. Smooth enjoyable IPA from the Badger State.

Bottle. Pours a clean amber color with a medium body off white head. Aroma of pine and fresh cut grass. The taste of hops slaps your tongue to attention immediately followed by a nice parade of citrus. I get the taste of orange and/or lemon peel. Finishes nicely with balaned bitterness. Overall I think this is a well done IPA.

12oz bottle. Thanks to beerdrenched! Filtered and amber. Clinging white head. Piney and musty nose. Cut grass and dirty socks. Medium and initially sweet. Then the blast of bitter hops in the finish. Thick and sticky. Piney and resinous. Tasty!

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a this head. Grapefruit abounds on the nose. The flavor is a melange of hoppy pine and tropical fruits (mango). Oily mouthfeel, it finishes in a bittler crescendo. Very nice, would have liked even more fruit in this one to stave of the hops, but none the less this was a good one that got even better as the brew approached room temperature. Thanks to Walleybrau for the bottle.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Footbalm via a trade. Pours a clear bronze color with a hint of red and a small white lacing for a head. Aroma of mango and guava, pine resin and citrusy hops. Taste buds detect tropical fruit, grapefruit, orange with a touch of west coast pine. Quite hoppy and very refreshing. Very good.

Pour is a almost red with a very large head. Aroma is a nice hop blast with some pine with a huge amount of sugar. Flavor is a bit off the aroma but still tasty with lots of pine and some grapefruit with a nice touch of malts coming in the end. Not the best IIPA but it has its moments and will satisfy your hops crave.
