Amazing aroma of floral hops and citrus. The taste has a big hop flavor as expected. There is also a equally nice malt flavor. Truly an exceptional beer.

Bottle. Pours a copper orange with a dissipating head and aroma of sweet hops and citrus. Taste is bitter sweet, lots of hops, fruits, citrus, caramel, and resin with a dry, bitter finish.

With Z, pours a deep dark rusty orange pour with a flat head. Taste is sweet with deep pine and resin, and citrus. Taste is bittersweet with a bold hippy flavor and complemented with pine and resin . Finishes on the same tasting notes with a long moderately bitter finish. Nice ! Quaff Score 7 / 10

12oz bottle, thanks to Paul & Jamie for picking this up on their trip a few weeks ago. Didnít notice a date on the bottle. Split with Chris R. Hazy, kind of darker amber color. Thin off-white head. Some ropes and bits of lace. Up front in the nose is dark fruit, fig, caramel, a touch of musty hop. Not the smell I typically associate with a fresh DIPA. Touch of citrus in the flavor, some herbal floral hop, but more caramel. Hint of chocolate? Moderate to bigger sweet taste, though not cloying. Mild bit of alcohol. Mild bitterness. Medium to bigger body. Kind of slick texture. Light carbonation. Full feel. Alright as it is now. Drinks kind of like a mildly aged imperial amber ale that once featured more citrusy DIPA hops.

Good citrus flavors with an ear wax end. Malt toast and bitterness. Golden appearance with thin fading head. Bitter thickness on the tongue. Lots of carmel. Nice brew.

Dark amber color with a nonexistent head. Aroma is malty with no hops to be found. Taste isnít any better. Disappointing.

UPDATED: SEP 20, 2015 Poured from the bottle of a 4-pack, clear copper brown, a lot of hops, but Iím not sure where these dudes are getting their whores from because usually itís: overpowering perfume, very matter of fact, money up front, sometimes she lifts up her sweatshirt, if it goes well it ends with a $10 tip.

Iím getting old because I hate the name and LOVE the beer. Pours with perfect moderate head that leaves tons of lacing. Really thick beer. Tastes and smells of pine with a touch of butter. Man thatís good.

Pretty color, clear copper amber. Light froth, light lace. Aroma has a general hoppiness, which I cant really describe. Resin and bland mineral but pretty low in aroma. Caramel resin taste, citrus I guess, mainly caramel toffee taste but fairly hoppy. ehh kinda bland for double ipa or strong ipa. Average.

Rated on 9-21-2013 at 800 Degree Three Fires (Fort Wayne, IN) This draft beer has a small creamy smooth ivory head that mostly diminishes, transparent amber body, very little carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing adorns my glass. The aroma is caramel malt, pine hops, floral, grapefruit, and apricot. The flavor is bitter, pine hops, grapefruit, and caramel malt. The mouthfeel of this beer is smooth and it is medium bodied. Overall, a beer with a nice hop taste and worth trying.

Mahogany pour with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is a nice fruity hop flavor balanced with a solid malt body. Sticky, long lasting flavor. great lacing.
