What a perfect brew for 200th rating! Pours a amber/brownish color with a small white head. Wonderful aromas of piney hop, malt and a hint of brown sugar fill the air. Upon first sip....wow... hophead heaven in a bottle! Wonderful piney/citrus hop flavor swirl on your tongue, then the big bitter hits you at the end.Slight malt flavor hidden inside, but gets beatin down by the glorious hops!!All behold and rejoice! The hoplord commeth!

Holy crap! Finally an IPA that really has some serious BITE to it. Tons of hops in this one, a lot of grapefruity taste going on but not to sweet or overpowered by malt. THis would have to be my second best IPA had to date, behind Furious of course, but probably is equally as hoppy, which i didnt think another brewery could match it. Most double’s dont match the hop burn of this one...you better like em bitter to try this one

Amber, orange color. Smell of hops, hops, hops, pine, grapefruit, malt, brown sugar, grass, hops, citrus zest and some more hops. I wish they would just bottle this smell and make it into a $100 bottle of collage for men! Taste of hops, pine, orange peal, roasted malt, grapefruit, caramel, grass, alcohol and a mind blowing bitterness that is so great! Wow! I am buying a case!

This is my benchmark for an IPA. Floral aroma, great pour to a reddish-brown body with a nice, white head and some lacing. Flavor is hops, hops, hops! Just shy of being the perfect beer.

Bountiful citrus/pine hop aroma, almost to thick for any malt to shine through, generous creamy head, clear orange amber color, rich juicey pine/citrus hop and instant bitterness on the tongue immediately evident, this all reappears anew on each sip,a little caramel sweetness makes a quick appearance then disappears again in the middle, light medium body ,all ending in a tongue sucking wonderful aftertaste. No doubt one of the best new hop brews you will try this summer. The master of the hops does it again

Bottle from Woodman’s, Madison. Sweet and hoppy aroma. Dark reddish amber aroma with thin off-white head. Nice streaky lace. Hazy and steady carbonation with particalia visible. Very nicely balanced IPA. A good malt sweetness greets the considerable hop profile. A little chalky, which also comes through in the nose. Somewhat peppery. I brought three bottled IPAs with me camping two weeks ago: Smuttynose IPA, Great Divide Titan IPA and this brew. Of the three, I enjoyed this the most, which is saying something. I’m having a hard time trying to determine how this brew could be improved; there really aren’t any elements in which it is lacking. Low in alcohol for the amount of flavor it provides. Although Tyranena has been known for going a little of the top in it’s beer names, this one struck a cord with me. Maybe it was the bald guy with the goatee on the label.

bottle. Poured a deep golden amber with a slight reddish hugh. Excellent light tan head that holds. Lace stockings could not have more lacing! A taste reveals, hops--herbal, pine, evergreen. This is the trademark IPA bitter. A second taste reveals sugar--honey, carmel, candy. Some citrusy and fruit notes present. Another great beer from the "brewers gone wild" series. Keep us the good work Tyranena! I would drink again.

Had this on tap at the brewery a little while back. Pours a bright almost reddish tinted deep golden with a nice head. Very powerful hop aroma that exudes a good dose of citrus and pine, but there is also a cloying amount of sweet malt that balances the hops a little. Flavor is extremely powerful, impressive, and balanced for an IIPA. Nice dose of citrus follwed with a great caramelly sweet malt. Fantastic IIPA.

Bottle at we’ve been here 3 hours and we’re only 1/3rd of the way through the beers so quite writing essays so we can get them all done tasting. One of my favourates of the day. Alround rating: Floural, melon, lemon, lime pale malts, realkly awsome and totally different to any other ipa iv ever had. Totally so drinkable.
