3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to Badbeer and Nolankowal poured a deep dark brownish black color with a tiny tan head. The aroma was fresh roasted coffee beans with some oats, hops, chocolate, toffee and burnt malts. Flavor was almost like eating coffee beans with some oatmeal. The body was a bit thin with not much in the way of carbonation.

Big thanks to Quake1028 for bringing this coffee gone wild beer.
Pours deep brown in color with tan head. This beer has simply a huge coffee aroma. I can sense a light sweetness behind the coffee but that was about it. The flavor starts with big and bold black cup of coffee as well as some burnt malts. Just like the aroma the coffee is simply huge in the taste too. Reminds me a lot of Dunedinís Coffee Brown Ale. This will go well along side of bacon, eggs and hash browns in the morning. I got no sense of the ABV.

Bottle. Unbelievable Porter. Poured a dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma of coffee. Taste was complex, deep coffee flavor, subdued sweetness, and a nice malt flavor with a bit of tartness. Great mouthfeel!
Excellent beer! I would buy this one again!

Courtesy of Quake1028. Thanks, John. Folgers, Walking into a Starbucks, Juan Valdezís bag, the smell of Seattle if the entire city caught fire...these thinsg are what this beer smells like. COFFEE!!!! Intense, unrelenting, massive coffe int he aroma. Maybe some chocolate....who knows? My olfactory senses were body slammed by all the coffe. Good thing I love that aroma. The body is dark brown to black and holds a creamy and lasting mocha head. Has a great round mouthfeel that is fairly thick for a porter, but also pretty oily. The fore is coffee and chocolate followed by some very faint dark fruit notes and a steady blast of roasted malt. Itís actually kind of brutish, but as I love coffee so damn much I donít at all mind being brutalized in this way.

Thanks to Stine for providing this one through a trade. Who is brewing a pot of coffee? Oh wait, thatís just this beer being opened. Body is dark brown, with a creamy brown head. Nose is all coffee, with maybe some chocolate seeping through, but itís tough to pull it out. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, malt. Medium to light bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Smooth finish, sweet with some roasted cocoa notes coming through. If you like coffee, this is your beer. Very well done.

Thanks to Ughsmash and pantanap who each sent me a bottle. Pours deep brown with a small head. Fair lacing. Huge coffee aroma with some sweet caramel malt. Nicely bitter coffee taste. Medium to full body. Somewhat creamy texture. Nicely done.

Courtesy moejuck. Pours pitch black with a light brown head. The aroma is monster coffee and chocolate. Cant say much else about it because thats what it is. The taste is smoother than I thought, obviously big coffee and some chocolate and malts. Nice full body, with a slick, oily mouthfeel. Very nice chocolate, especially in the finish. I think there is more coffee in the nose than in the taste, which was a bit of a surprise and Iím glad it had more chocolate in the taste. Good brew.

Steveís Liquor Madison
The Devil Made Me Do It poured a black hole into my snifter. This beer does not let one bit of light shine through. I think itís actually making the room darker. A 1 finger tan head formed and quickly fell to a thick ring of head with a floating island of chunk. Leaves chunky lacing after each sip. This is one of those beers that looks like itíll be packed with flavor.
This beer smells great. Mounds of the finest freshly ground coffee beans greet the nose. Roasted malts are there along with a shot of cream and 2 cubes of sugar. Smells like a quality freshly brewed cup of coffee.
Again, a freshly brewed cup of coffee as soon as this beer hits the tongue. Mild vanilla and cream add a nice sweetness that accompanies the coffee perfectly. Moderate coffee bitterness on the swallow thatís always welcome.
Creamy mouthfeel from the addition of oatmeal. Actually has a little prickliness in there that awakens the tongue and really lets the flavors take hold.
This is a highly drinkable beer. I can see myself drinking this anytime of the day whether itís with breakfast or after dinner.
Tyranena makes some great beers and this is no exception. A porter thatís missing the porter aspect and filled with roasty delicious coffee.

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Moejuck: Poured a deep black color porter with a small foamy head with average retention and some lacing. Aroma of dry coffee is dominating but not in an exceeding way which sometime render coffee flavoured beer a bit gross. Taste of medium roasted malt with subtle bitter notes with some coffee which brings dry notes. I would have preferred a bit more chocolate notes and maybe a touch of sweetness to balance the dryness of the coffee but this beer is still very enjoyable. Full body with some light carbonation which fits the style.

Nice aromas. The oatmeal smoothness comes through. The taste is grainy with some oatmeal and coffee of course. Some bittersweet chocolate as well. Sweetness on the backside. I really enjoyed this one. Has the subtlety, flavors, and textures I love in a dark beer.
