2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pros: Solid appearance with an alluring color and nicely layered foam.
Cons: Hop character is apparent, but needs more brightness and pungency. Too herbal and medicinal for my liking, not citrusy enough. No malt character and a thin body. Just another IPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft in Wisconsin, uncle mikes highway pub. Expecting more bitterness, fairly standard IPA, nothing extraordinary despite the cool name.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Nice slightly browned-orange in color with a medium-sized off-white head. Moderate pine aroma with orange zest and a vanilla malt backbone. Moderate bitterness that grows slightly in intensity bringing forth notes of rich leather and grapefruit flesh. Finish has a slightly sweet uptick with flavors of sugared lemon drops and green tea. As it warms, the sweet notes become more pronounced and flavors of dates and raisins become apparent within the rich malt base. Solid and left me wanting more.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in trade. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is mild hops, but strong malt sweetness. Taste is light, mild bitterness, sweet finish. Not my idea of an ipa.

I am not a huge IPA guy but I found this one to be decent. Tap, orange/amber color with a small white head. Has a bitter caramel taste.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated on 5-26-2010. This bottled beer pours a medium sized white head, transparent gold body, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is fruity, pine, bitter, and floral hops. The taste is bitter, fruity, pine and some citrus hos. The palate is lightly tingly and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer is quaffable, rather mild tasting for the style and worth trying,.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had it out of a bottle. It had a beautiful amber hue and thick white head and thats it. It has a wet basement aroma and a not so good bitter beer taste. Could have been paste its prime.
