Bitter Woman IPA is our Wisconsin variation of an India Pale Ale. This beer is intensely bitter with a mighty hop flavor and aroma.

A copper colored beer, with a hint of carbonation and little head. Pleasant aroma of fruits. At first taste amalgamation of fruit and a bit of spices. Finishes smooth with fruity overtones, but still maintains overtone of spices. Something feels a bit dead at the end of each sip however. What does a Wisconsin style IPA even mean? I donít know, I guess I donít dig the bitter nature of this ale, for it certainly lives up to its name, and I donít think that is necessarily a good thing.

Grassy IPA. Nice but a bit average sweet. Astringent. Strong on tongue. Nothing special. Okay for abv. From brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great copper appearance. Malt and hops aroma and taste. Well balanced, more malty than many other IPAs, not overly hoppy. I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

piney in the nose, lightly floral. flavor seems a bit maltier, still lots of pine and bitter, but maybe not terribly fresh. Still ok.

Poured from the bottle of a six pack, copper color with foamy collar. I have found that buying beer without the alcohol level posted on the label to be a 50/50 proposition, this time to the bad because I wouldnít have purchased a 5.75% for a premium price. The fact that someone took the time to write this great story on the label but omitted the ABV seems shady. As far as the commercial deScription; to say this beer is "intensely bitter" & has "mighty hop flavor" are an overstatement. Itís good beer, is bitter, has good hop flavor, and is very drinkable, but letís not get crazy with the adjectives, especially considering the other IPA,s that come out of Wisconsin at the same price.

Decent iPad. Heavily malty notes with some hippiness in the finish. Smells malty and hoppy. Pours copper with a 2 finger thick reddish tan head. Had at home. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear copper color with a light tan head. The smell is earthy malt, spice, citrus. The taste is as it smells, madly, dry ending with bitterness. Light/medium body and slightly prickly carbonation.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aromas are a notable grapefruit citrus with secondary notes of grain, herbs, and a light caramel late. It pours an oily orange-amber with a dense, fuzzy head, retaining a medium ring, splotchy surface, and leaving an abundant, sheet lace. The taste is a medium high bitter and a medium / medium-light sweet. The medium bodied, oily beer goes down with a soft fuzz for carbonation. Grapefruit and grass are the overwhelming and dominant flavors on the palate and it has a crisp, grass finish with a bitter grapefruit lingering as well as some pine and bitter herb.
