Big bourbon aroma. An interesting taste with some sourness. Still a good drinkability at the end of a meal and tasting. Dark colour with generous lasting off-white head.Above average mouthfeel.

nice aroma of bourbon and vanilla. doesn’t make too much head, had to give it a bit of a shake, glad i did. taste has same vanilla, burbon, slightly smoky flavor. while it’s only 7.7 ABV, there’s more alcohol bite than I would have expected.

Sampled this at ABR. Just like almost everything Tyranena does, absolutely delicious.

Pours to a deep brown body with a nice tan head. The aroma is caramel and vanilla with tobacco like malts and bourbon. The flavor was quite nice with the age on it. Very well blended malts with tobacco and caramelized vanilla beans. The palate is medium bodied and smooth. I quite liked this with some age on it. Better than when it was fresh.

clear copper, respectable off white head, some bubbly lace. nose of coffee, wood, roasty chocolate, a touch of whiskey. flavor is roasty coffee, chocolatey malt, trace of the bourbon barrel, trace of fruitiness. full bodied, bitter, roasty finish. an interesting brew, one that you must pay attention to rather than down during a baseball game. quite complex.

9/16/11. 12oz bottle courtesy stevencon. Clearish amber pour with a small tan head. Light BA aroma with lots of chocolate in there as well. Subtle barrel in the flavor with more chocolate and caramel. Tasty!
