Draft on tap at Great Taste of the Midwest 2011 (Madison, WI). Pours a murky sewage water hue, a touch of reddish glow, frothy whitish head dies to a ring, laces small. Aromas are raspberries, fruity, touches of oak, lactic, brett. A bit dirty. Initial is medium bodied, sweeter malts up front move into raspberries, bread dough, carmelized malts. Some toffee, vanilla. Wet, touches of brett, lightly sour. Finish is crisp, biscuits, toast, and some touches of sweet caramel. A bit odd, fruity but still fairly malts. The barrel doesnít do much, touches of wild yeast. Forgettable.

On tap at the tasting room...Pours an ugly watery brown with reddish highlights. A tan head that settles quickly...The aroma is lots of wood and bourbon, with a backbone of raspberries, lightly tart with notes of brett...The taste is not very good as the oaky brett dominates making this a harsh taste, losing the sweetness of the aroma and raspberries. Not a very good lambic or fruit beer, avoid.

On tap at Tyranena brewery, pours a very dark amber reddish color with a pink head, aroma is full of sour raspberries with hints of vanilla, wood and bourbon, the taste is very smooth and woody but still has the tart of the raspberries, I personally really enjoyed this brew.

Special tapping at 2 pm and served on draught during GTMW 2010 Festival in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden dark amber colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind no lacing. Aroma of sour brown ale, vanilla, a hint of bourbon, and some tart dark berries. Taste mostly brown ale with a hint of barnyard funk, dark berries with some light bourbon and vanilla flavors. Finish has a mild sour brown ale and bourbon aftertaste followed by Brett yeast and some tart berries.

Sampled from the tap at the 2010 GTMW. Poured a cloudy deep amver with a tan head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was light tart raspberries with a bit of funkiness and bourbon. Flavor was similar with light tart raspberries with a bit of bourbon and funk coming out in the finish.
