Had on tap at Parkside 23 in Brookfield, WI. Pours a dark brown with a hefty two finger white head. Nice lacing. Flavors of mocha, vanilla, malt and coffee. Excellent balance in this brown ale. The barrel aging provides a very nice flavor but not boozy in any way. I really like this beer.

Really good! Great aroma of chocolate and caramel. Pours a beautiful rich dark brown. Has a sweet, creamy, chocolaty, caramel, with a rich malt taste. It finishes with a rich wooden, nutty flavor that is clear and delicious. Really a nice beer.

Pours a light muddy orange brown with no head. Nose is very light with a mild whiff of malt and a hint of chocolate. Taste has a strong whiskey presence with malt and notes of chocolate. Finish is lingering whiskey, with some bitterness and malt. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Pours brown with a light tan head and aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is of malt, caramel, and lots of bourbon notes that follow in the long finish. Nice take on the bourbon brown ale.

Pours a dark brown with a frothy tan head. Aromas of malt and bourbon dominate with a bit of resiny hop. The flavor is mostly sweet and I was hoping for a bit more bourbon. Finishes a bit sticky and dry. Overall a very enjoyable brown ale and I do enjoy the bit of bourbon present

Binnys downtown bottle that I drug back up to the Dells to drink. A pretty tasty and caramely brown. I don’t get much from the barrel treatment but some hints of vanilla come through. Good for a style that can get boring.

Tap at 8th street grill. Pours a nice brown wIth good oaky bourbon flavor. Very solid.

Deep ruby brown, white foamy head. Aroma of cocoa, malt, milk, slight bourbon. Moderate body, bourbon, chocolate, coconut, finishes with a light dryness and cinnamon.
