4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 heermant (10) - Minnesota, USA - DEC 15, 2011
This is an unusual, wonderful beer. I love it year ’round. Who knew orange peel and hops go together so well?

It poured an amber color with a light off-white head. The aroma was of fruit, like citrus and grapefruit. The flavor was of hops, citrus and some mango. A very decent IPA.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Beerowulf (60) - , Indiana, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Pours a golden yellow and light head. Lots of sediment in this one. Strong pine aroma present. Strong hoppiness and mild aftertaste. Orange peel taste is not real evident. Very pleasing but only for fans of IPAs.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Glouglouburp (4540) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 25, 2011
In short: A sharp citric/bitter/dry session IPA. Nice beer
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed fresh, two weeks after receiving as a bonus from tytoanderso, thanks a lot Tyler
The look: Almost clear golden body topped by a small off-white head
In long: The not-so-intense hoppy nose is a bit garden flowers and citrus fruits. Taste is toasted bicuity malts with a medium amount of crunchy caramel. Then comes the floral and citrusy hops (mainly grapefruits and lemon) as well as some half-yellowed grass. Finish is half-bitter half-dry. Overall the beer was rather tasty and quite drinkable despite a sharp aggressive lemony bite in the finish. Scurvy, what a terrible disease. If only we could find a solution to malnutrition in third world countries we could probably get rid of 90% of scurvy cases and 85% of manipulative late night infomercials.
4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 bruwery (35) - Lowell, Michigan, USA - NOV 15, 2011
Pretty, clear pour from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Great head, and an enticingly hoppy, slightly evergreen aroma. Plenty of hops, but not overpowering, and a strong, mildly bitter citrus finish (presumably from the orange peel). That nice crisp finish lingers in the mouth for a while and acts as a great thirst quencher - while also making me want more. I’m really liking this beer.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dumontn (411) - CHICAGO, Illinois, USA - NOV 3, 2011
Pours orange with suspended particles, nice head and lacing. Aroma is candy caramel, resin, mild citrus, mild toast. Taste reminds me of a dreamsicle; notes of orange peel and caramel sweetness intermingle with toast, pine, and resin. Body is medium-full, oily, lower than avg carb, dry citrusy finish with notes of orange throughout. Overall, orange peel provides a delightful accent to the characteristically citrusy IPA
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 pjwalsh2 (87) - Palos Park, Illinois, USA - OCT 23, 2011
1. Look – A clear medium amber IPA with a large off white head.
2. Sniff – It has a big citrus and somewhat piney aroma that almost stings your nose.
3. Sip – This medium bodied IPA is different. It has a powerful citrus orange-peel taste with a big piney and grapefruit finish.
4. Another Look – This is an appealing IPA with its medium amber color, excellent lacing, and a long lasting head.
5. Evaluate – Overall, this IPA definitely stands out. I appreciate this IPA for its interesting bold flavor combinations –it works well. I would recommend this to the adventurous IPA drinker looking for a change of pace –but still enjoys a higher IBU rating along with a fruity attitude.

Golden orange, bitter with a orange peel finish. Hops are floral and citrus too.
