Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Clear orange amber color. Nice thicker creamy off-white head. Leaves nice thicker lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation. Good full creamy texture to it. Light dry finish. Nice citrusy aroma, light spice, some light piney earthy hop. Caramel malt. Moderate sweet taste, moderate bitter. Good hoppy pale ale.

Draft. From notes. Loads of orange and grapefruit dominate. Long bitter finish. Very good.

Pours a copper color with a thick, lasting head. Aroma is minimal with just hints of bread and citrus. Taste has more of a bitter start that I expected from the aroma. The malt and citrus bring some sweetness to balance the hops before a nice, bitter finish. Overall a pretty classic English / East coast IPA profile with a touch of citrus added just like the label says.

Beautiful copper color, lots of citrus aroma and bitterness, very full flavor on a very light body, very interesting combination.

Tap at New Bohemia. Really attractive copper color with a limited amount of head. Very fresh taste. Sweeter than expected bit with ample hops. Surprisingly not as citrusy as I thought. A smooth option with a pretty solid finish. Kind of your standard IPA. If nothing better on your way to the US on some old school pilgrim boat, this is OK.

On tap at The Free House Pub. Amber color. White head. Citrus and floral aroma and taste. A good mix of orange and pine hops with enough malt to keep things drinkable. Dry and bitter finish. Lingering hop flavor.

Pours a unique peach tinged light amber, with a brief white head. Aroma is slightly citrus. Flavor is also unique... IPA with orange peel instead of grapefruit. Dry, slightly bitter and bright. Pleasant surprise. (What food to pair?)

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber pour with a nice off-white head. Nice citrus nose. Big citrus hops in the taste with a huge bitter citrus finish. This is an excellent way to prevent scurvy.

A decent ipa from tyrannical. Nicely bitter and easy to drink. Pours a dark orange in color. Has a live bitter fruity finish. Had at ba apple.

No aroma on an ipa? Really? Flavor is nice with orange peel rind. Thin fading head good mouthfeel. Light citrus flavor on back of mouth with medium. Bitterness good beer.
