3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ar: Lemon, pine, and leafy.
Ap: Reddish-amber, clear - medium light tan head with good retention and a solid tuft of lacing.
T: Bitter and resinous up front, pine and lemon like the aroma - some toasty malt and orange - finish is bitter and a slightly tannic.
P: Medium body with medium carbonation - finish is dry.
O: Very nice IPA - great pine and citrus mix with an overall clean malty profile.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Poured a deep copper with a small off-white head. Smells of caramel, citrus, tropical fruit, and cereal. Taste is citrus, grapefruit, caramel, and a lightly bitter orange peel finish. The hops are very muted in both the smell and taste, but still somewhat well-balanced. Not picking up much orange in either the taste or aroma either. Mouthfeel is medium with high carbonation. Overall, a decent IPA, but nothing really too special or unique about this brew.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A decent IPA, but surprisingly on the boring side. The orange peel gives a fruity essence to the aroma and is apparent on the fade, but otherwise this brew is nothing too astounding. Rather european on the nose, yet the taste is all American-style hopping, with a moderately citric center and mild sweetness. Harsh in the texture, though, too spiky and carbonated for its own good. Eh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of carmel, orange zest, grapefruit and light tropical fruit. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit, pine and light orange zest with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear orange with good bubbles and head that evaporates quick. Served with an orange at this bar Uncle Mikes on tap. Smooth taste, slightly bitter and not too hoppy. Grapefruit and orange hints.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, that spend too long time in the fridge (sadly). Pours hazy dark golden, off-white head. Aroma is malty, some resin, orange and some floral hops. Medium body and low carbonation. Very nice dry, bitter finish.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Light orange with a thick off-white head. Resinous hops primarily with orange, clove and sweet honey aroma. Doesn’t come off as to bitter despite the hop aroma. Very clean and refreshing. Might have liked more orange, but otherwise really enjoyed this one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Originally reviewed: 6/28/10. 12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a darker amber/orange. There’s a huge billowy off-white head resting on top. Retains very well; leaves lots of clinging lace and rings. At first whiff, this beer has lots of citrus notes present. Some orange zest, lemon, grapefruit. But the nose fades quickly, leaving some light caramel and spice.
The mouth is smooth with ample carbonation. The flavor is a bit average. I see that this is a rotating release, so I wonder what the date is on this one [?]. The hops are pretty muted, with some mild bitterness. The malts have surfaced instead, with notes of toffee and caramel. The orange is surprisingly muted as well. Not as much citrus as expected. Drinkability was decent though, as it was a good enough beer, just not what I was expecting.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a deep, clear amber with a nice yellow-white head.
Scent is hops and orange.
Taste is bitter, the orange peel and hop combo really match up nicely.
The orange provides a bit more subtle bitter sting than the usual grapefruit/pine effect.
Very dry...most enjoyable...."zesty"

Hazy amber beer. Neutral palate. Deep rich hops, fairly bitter. Orange marmalade bitterness. Creamy malt underneath. Lingering bitter aftertaste. Decent but was hoping for something more interesting.
