Bottle. Pours an orangish amber color with a medium white head. Aroma of pine and citrus. Taste of hops dominate with a bitterness that seems enhanced from the orange peel. Flavor is hoopy and tart from the citrus. Has a sticky piney bitter finish. Nice lacing all the way down the glass.

Oct 5, 2008 Seems like a typical offering for a Midwest IPA. Has the high bitter hops, the malt backbone and the fruity notes obscured by a very active malt profile. Aroma is malts, hop profile is bitter but not very floral. Flavor is smooth, and not aggressive. Pours clear copper with white head.

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle, thanks to LilBeerDoctor! Pours clear copper with a thick and lacy off-white head. Aroma of citrus and toffee. Light body and fine carbonation. (I’m trying to separate the orange peel from the hoppy citrus with no luck... I’ve got a cold at the moment and my sniffer isn’t currently up to par, so there may be tons of other stuff lurking in the aroma and taste.)

Oct 4, 2008 Draft. poured a clear copper-orange color with an off white head. Hop dominated aroma with pine resin and citrus fruits in the forefront. There were also goodly whiffs of caramel and graham cracker. Delicately sweet with moderate to assertive bitterness of about 7 out of 10. Grapefruity, orange-ish flavors supported by some malty toffee. Not bad.

Sep 30, 2008 Bottle shared by kmweaver. Clear copper orange colored body, very small tan head, thins out into a ring. Nose is a combination of chewy caramel and cedar with some cream as well. Strange flavor, sharp enough, very fresh and fruity with some bitter graham crackers and bran, but a lot of sweet grapefruit and a light orange-cleaner scent. Good stuff, not my type of IPA for for a type I don’t like it’s really fresh and flavorful.
