drpimento (518), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Apr 17, 2008 Tasty beer. Not one of their best nor very distinguishable. True to form. Pours with a nice head that dissipates and a little lace. Typical doppel bock flavor. It’s good that it’s not over sweet. Nice dark amber color. Real good caramel toffee finish. Be fun to cook with this.
TheElder (49), DeSoto, Wisconsin, USA Jun 2, 2008 Ruby red, with beige head. Looks amazing! I get deep maple tastes and some very ripe fruit. Can not get over the looks. Wow! IPAaLLtHEwAY (109), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA May 31, 2008 Beautiful appearance, no head whatsoever but beautiful none the less. The flavor is decent. Complex overall yet not my preference for a dopple bock. Truely well brewed. Shag (1787), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 26, 2008 A dark amber to almost brown apperance. The aroma contains some raisin bread with some other dark fruits and chocolate. The flavor contains some plums, cherries, caramel, and maple. Kind of surprised to not see it rated higer. Overall a nice beer. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/11/2008

heemer77 (3752), Savannah, Missouri, USA May 22, 2008 Dark amber body with a yellowish khaki head. The aroma is really malt with some black tea and peaches. There are also some notes of alcohol. The taste has some sweet bananas and cinnamon. There is also a little bit of leather. A little thick in the mouthfeel.
