"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

At barbakan in York well it is a polish lager! No aroma, no palate but jolly good taste. Up the Polish!

Wow, pours a clear gold color in the glass. Probably the clearest brew I’ve seen in a long time. Not sure what hops they used but definitely an interesting aroma of jasmine and a hint of piney hops. I also can detect a hint of woody oak on the nose. Flavor is similar to the aroma, woody oak plus a hint of minty citrus hops. Overall, this is probably the best Pale Lager I’ve ever had. Thanks to Dandman629 for snagging this on his trip to Poland.

"Meh. Cereal an grain notes, with faint sweetness and faint hops. Non-offensive but a little boring across the board. There are better pilsners for less."

Polish standard lager, probably the most popular one in Poland after Zywiec and Okocim; neutral, with light malt sweetness, bland but still some relatively spicy hops in the finish.

Aroma: hay, bread; Appearance: clear urine, small head; Taste: medium sourness, medium sweetness, slight bitterness; Palate: watery texture, abrupt finish, light body, average carbonation Once a decent beer destroyed by mass production. Metallic aftertaste, almost no trace of hops. Why is it so popular as export beer? Out of nostalgy? This was a domestic canned version.

Transfer from 4-1-13- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear, lighter golden color with a one finger white head. The head fades rather fast to leave a light level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma was rather mild, consisting of some light bready malts as well as a light caramel smell mixed with a bit of a grassy aroma. Taste – The taste starts out with a lightly caramel sweetened malty and bready taste. As the taste advances the light caramel sweetness fades some, giving only a light level of sweetness overall to the taste. In the end a very light grassy and herbal hop taste come to the tongue, leaving a smooth and clean flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light overall with a thinner body and a slightly higher carbonation level. Both the higher carbonation and the thinner body create a very easy drinking brew and compliment well the crisp and clean taste that is left on the tongue at the end of the taste. Overall – A decent and easy drinking lager with a fair level of refreshment. It is rather simple, but has no off flavors making it a good brew to drink when wanting something crisp and simple on a nice hot day while sitting and chatting with friends.

Picked up this 500 ml bottle at Centra in Knocktopher, Ireland. Pours a clear gold with a white head and moderate lacing. Nose of grassy hops and a little citrus. Light to medium body. Flavor shows a little fruit and grassy hops. The finish is crisp. Fairly nice.
