2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Shared by Bryan for my first Polish tick... Thanks! Pours a deep golden clear color with a good sized off white head. Smell is cat piss, typical skunky pilsner malts, some grassy hops. Taste is somewhat vegetal, grassy, little lemon citrus, and the skunky lager. I would expect this to be more crisp. Glad to try it!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Refreshing lager, with a lovely head. It’s won tons of awards, and whilst I wouldn’t quite go that far it is great stuff.

Bottle, poured into a pint glass. Gold, with a white head. Fairly delicate vague hop aroma. Gentle, drinkable beer. Very nice for a standard lager.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
As far as pale lagers go this isn’t bad. Sometimes if I am in a Wetherspoons and fancy a cold drink, one of these straight from the fridge is just fine. Slightly hoppy, grainy and nicely bitter. This can be refreshing and can really hit the spot. Nothing special by any stretch of the imagination but drinkable!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with a foamy white, one finger head. Aroma has notes of caramel, bread, and some mild hops to round it out. Taste is a mild bitter but balanced. Hints of caramel, grain, a bit of hops, and not much else. Medium body and carbonation. Crisp and clean in the mouth with a short aftertaste. Overall not bad. Pretty average but refreshing.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Another interesting Pilsener, in my opinion. Far from the fartsty sweetness of ordinary pale lagers, this beer holds a good amount of Saaz aroma and flavour. The appearance is not too kosher, with a greenish tinge in that gold. But nice crisp, metallic flavour, great thirstquencher.
