Ingredients: Water, malt, hops.
"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

This stuff is .99 for a 16 ounce bottle at my corner Osco. It acutaly tastes pretty good for a plisner. Worth your dollar for sure.

The aroma is not good, as a matter of fact itís skunky. It has alcohol, some malt and the weakest hops ever. The appearance is yellow gold with a small head. The flavor is typical and weak. It is malty with a grassy bitterness. The palate is thin. I am not that fond of it.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2006 Edit: I put the "Tyskie 375" in as a new beer, as I donít think it is the same as the "Tyskie Gronie", but my rating has been placed here. Canít say for sure that itís the same beer though.

Tried this on a 500 ml can brought back from Poland by a relative of mine. Though the text was all in Polish (which I donít speak) I understood that the beer was released to celebrate the 375 anniversary of the Tyskie brewery. A very light yeallow amber and a big white head. Lots of fruity scent and a great unexpected taste. Very nice lager well worth trying.

A clean lookin lager, the head is big and firm and leaves a good lace on the glass. The nose is fresh and perfumed, slightly malty...very appealling! This is a smooth, sweetish brew, the flavours linger well on the palate, a good quality beer, if not a classic!!!

Not bad, interesting, it has this common flavor of Polish beers, but it was a little more like Czech in this case. The hops are good in the beer. I like the head.

500 ml Bottle, 5.5% a/v Looks ok, nothing special. Looks kind of like a light beer. Smells hoppy and a hint at grass. Nice hoppy taste with a sweeter mouthfeel. Hints at a wide variety of flavours, none of which i can pick out. Really a pretty average beer in my opinions.

Clear light yellow color and great head. Light flavor for such a relatively strong beer. Mildly fruity. Fine pilsner.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2011 Dec, 2005 Bottle from Asian cornershop in Woodford. Fruity, creamy and firm beer with plenty of crispness and bite from a very assertive carbonation. Mildly buttery. Saaz hops lingering in a typical soapy/chemical manner in the finish becoming crudely bitter and salty. Beer is quite clean, but, despite the higher abv, the quality of the malt and hops do not taste to be of the highest. Malt is more acceptable than the hops. Certainly has character, and there may be Poles who have acquired a fondness for this. [1.8]
May, 2006 Bottle from local Asian supermarket. Creamier and fatter than most global lagers. Some lager hop awareness. Dull, and just too fat to be refreshing. A confused beer that doesnít have much in the way of flavour or crispness so serves little purpose. Itís quite strong, and itís cheap - so that must be the purpose. [1.7]
Dec, 2006. Bottle from Tesco. Carbonated. Sweet. Creamy. Tastes of cereal and sugar. Light on the hops. Slightly soapy and salty in the finish. Pale yellow colour. This doesnít get any better. [1.7]
March 2011 Can from corner shop. Drinkable. Fairly clean. No character. Hop bite in finish. OK. [2.2]

This is a good pilsner. Aroma is grassy, with almost no hint of corn. Taste is some lightly sweetish malts and some floural grassy hops. A winner for the pilsner world, went well with spicey food.
