"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

My father got me a bottle for my birthday. I don’t think he’s noticed it’s for sale in every dull restaurant and he was under the impression it was some luxurious specialty beer. Since I may as well taste these things some day so people don’t get upset about me not doing so, as if going for the >99% of beers not ubiquitous in the UK is a transgression but drinking the handful that are made for the L.C.D. to ruin their livers is fun and sociable, I obviously drunk it, and it wasn’t even pleasant. There’s nowt to it. Dishwater.

Ot, zwykły lager, to ma nic nie urywać, to ma nie mieć smaku - i w tej roli się sprawdza.

Can from Dan Murphy’s 250914. Pale and pasty looking and not very pleasant at all.

It has a bright golden yellow color with excellent clarity. It sports a quick fading bright white head of foam. It leaves only a slick ring of lacing at the edge of the glass. I get sweet white bready maltiness with some bready yeast and light grassy/floral hops. Following the nose the flavor has the same mildly sweet bready malt and yeast character backed up with mild grassy and floral hop notes. It has a very clean finish with light hop bitterness quickly fading from the tongue. Its light to medium body is refreshing and easy drinking with nice balanced carbonation.

500ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Straw body with thin to non existent white head, decent lacing. Some malty sweetness. A little bit of pine on the nose from the hops. Wood, Oak, Cereal notes. Medium carbonation, medium alcohol and its very sessionable.

At barbakan in York well it is a polish lager! No aroma, no palate but jolly good taste. Up the Polish!

Wow, pours a clear gold color in the glass. Probably the clearest brew I’ve seen in a long time. Not sure what hops they used but definitely an interesting aroma of jasmine and a hint of piney hops. I also can detect a hint of woody oak on the nose. Flavor is similar to the aroma, woody oak plus a hint of minty citrus hops. Overall, this is probably the best Pale Lager I’ve ever had. Thanks to Dandman629 for snagging this on his trip to Poland.

"Meh. Cereal an grain notes, with faint sweetness and faint hops. Non-offensive but a little boring across the board. There are better pilsners for less."

Polish standard lager, probably the most popular one in Poland after Zywiec and Okocim; neutral, with light malt sweetness, bland but still some relatively spicy hops in the finish.
