Ingredients: Water, malt, hops.
"Drinkers of this brand are fond of its delicate hop aroma, golden color and thick, white head. The aroma, being the assurance of excellent taste, is beyond the reach of most Polish beers." 11.7P

A better Red Stripe. If you like Corona or Pacifico and hate Red Stripe, this is a good Lager. Guess what? It’s from Poland, which doesn’t make an island lager, it just makes it a good lager.

Bottle:   Vibrant straw, almost golden, quite clear, light carbonation, small white frothy head, spotty lacing.   Grassy nose, straw, sight sweet hay.   Well balanced sweetness with the malt base.   Clean on the exit, very soft grassiness lingers.   I am surprised by this one, enjoying it way more than I thought I would.   Average body and mouthfeel.   Yeah, quite clean on the exit.   This was too easy to drink, not astringent, not overly sweet, just a well balanced Lager.

There’s a time and a place for every beer, and this is the time and place for Tyslie and me. Even if I’d think it was shit tomorrow.

Bottle - I was in the mood for a crisp lager, and that’s exactly what I got here. The pour was pretty bleh, with a clear, light amber and a frothy white head. The smell was wonderful -- clean, bright floral hops and sweet fruit, with some light malt lingering below. The taste left something to be desired, with some slightly sweet malt, a floral, grassy middle, and a bitter, nutty finish. Pretty watery and thin, but that’s to be expected. Better than I expected.

Bottle @ Flensburg. Pours clear pale yellow with a off white creamy white head. Very grainy nose and flavor. Sulpher and a watery palate. Short end.

Polish beer tends to be a bit higher in alcohol, and also excessivley hopped when compared to others of its style (in this case, lager or Pils). I’ve found most of the Polish offerings pretty good, and worthy of a second purchase, but Tyskie is not one of them! The beer poured a deep yellow, with a small, short lasting head; giving it the appearence of a cream soda. No aroma at all... none! Fairly nice body, but that was about it. Very light, slight wine-like undertones in the flavor, with malt and hops barely detectable. If there was anything good to be said about this beer at all, it is that it was relativley inexpensive for an import (I paid less than 12 bucks for a 12 pack), but then that kind of praise may be bordering on desperation!

Cardboard aroma, pillowhead, light bodied, some sweetness, chalkiness and macro beer flavors all the way.

Bottle. Watery yellow lager. Not much character on the nose or taste - basically just mild grain.
