4th Oct 2014, drank up in the brewery on a special visit where we got to taste the ’wort’ as well as trying three of their regular brews and eating a Goulash meal. Came a hazy amber with a full white head. Aromas of hops, fresh bread and light malts. Taste was a blend of the aforementioned aromas and obviously fresh as were in the room where it was brewed. Bitter finish but otherwise a well balanced brew and most enjoyable.

Bottle 0,33l. Pale brown to gold color, cloudy. Light nice aroma of hop and malt. Very good balanced taste between malt, hop, yeast. Surprising tones of spice and citrus. Bitter and sweet in balance. Medium low carbonated body.
Soft and noble pilsner, delicious. Fair-made.

Lacks any defining aroma, opaque golden straw color. Taste I less malt and more hop forward.

Aroma: cereal and grain malts. Appearance: dark gold, big frothy white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: very malty, light sweets coming up at the beginning, yet bitters continue througout. Overall: decent Pilsner, light and refreshing, quite light. Pint at U Medvidků, Prague.

Výčap U Medvídku. Farba zlatá. Pena pekná biela. Vôňa sladová, chmeľová a kvasnicová. V chuti prázdne telo, kvasnicova vôňa aj chuť. Jemne cítiť ovocie, oriešky. Trošku mu chýba rezkosť a bolo by skvelé.

330 ml swingtop bottle courtesy of Jamedra, Thanks. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium white head that has fair retention. The aroma is soft with grains and spicy hops . The taste has a fruity component featuring persimmons as well as a bit of toffee and very spicy saaz hops on the back end. The palate is full and silky smooth with lively carbonaiton. Finishes long and dry with lingering hops. Overall: A wonderful pils.
