Thanks to MisoW for this beer! Pours a hazy dark brown with orange highlights and a small tan head. The smell is dark fruit, wood, some slight sourness, The taste is sour rich fruit, wood and caramel ending dry with plums and raisins. The body is thick and the carbonation is average. It is interesting and I wonder if the sourness is intended.

Thanks to MisoW for the bottle. Shared with ThirstyBird. The beer starts very intense, malt, but also fruit, sweetness, cherries. The mainpart is full flavoured, cherries, even wood, not too sweet and slightly bitter. The aftertaste is long, a bit sour, cherries, fruity, malty sweetness. --> great slightly sour beer!! --> 13/12/13/13

Bottle shared by MisoW. Brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of strawberries, raspberries, malt honey. Very sweet fruity taste with red berries, honey, sweet malt. Alcohol is well hidden. Little bit too much on sweet side for me, but overall tasty beer.

On tap at U Medvicku. ... this beer has alot going on. Aroma almost sweet and sugary. First few sips were almost like brown sugar .. then as it warmed it turned to raisins and chocolate. Lastly it finished with a prune and cocoa taste .. overall really good though quite sweet .. I would buy again

Tap at U Medvídků 7.05.2013 Brown untransparent color. Yellow, medium sized, medium fast falling head. Very oily texture, low carbonation. Aroma is rich, full malty, dried red fruits, woody. Nice, good balanced aroma. Taste is very sweet, malty, red fruits, brown sugar/toffee. Oak barrell aroma in nose and in taste. Very complex beer with to strong sweetness that lowers drinkablity. Good hidden alcohol.

Keg at U Medvicku. Pours Browny Amber with an off-white head. Very sweet aroma. Flavour has a lot going on. Soft, overripe fruits on the turn. Toffee and wood. It’s a bit like a barley wine or an old ale. Sticky, sweet, Boozy and bitter. I’d recommend it in very small measures.

2009 vintage bottle. Thanks to KyotoLefty. Cinnamon, lots of licorice, sweetened wine, and buttery nose. Reddish-brown color, flat and slick. Tart fruit initial; mid is has a rich sweetnesss and citrus fruit; final is buttery, cheesy, and finishes somehow dry. Medium-thick body. Wow! Very sharp all around and so complex.
