3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(330ml bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours a chocolate orange color with decent head. Nose has alcohol. Sweet malt and thick body with no hint of alcohol in the taste. Light sour bite on the front with great carbonation. Odd salty/sour palette finish though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (330ml - swing-top). Via trade with glouglouburp. Bit of a gusher. Poured clear deep chestnut, large diminishing creamy tan head. Wonderfully nutty/oily aroma, sweet but with some herbal bitterness - I don’t get anything like 12% in the aroma. Taste - somewhat stronger in alcohol, but still mostly nutty, with sour cherry and raisins tossed in. Slick, oily mouthfeel, a little acidic, somewhat boozy in the tail. Mmmmm - a sipper, quite sticky!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. It pours a slightly hazy reddish nut brown beer with a small head. Really nice strong and rather sweet aroma of coconut, fudge, candied apricot, lavender, papaya, tobacco, Stilton, candy floss, pineapple, milk chocolate and earthy hops. A lot of coconut showing up in the taste. Full bodied. Sticky, sweet, slightly acidic and salty and nicely fruity. Very low carbonation. Vinous. Residual sugars in the finish which is reminiscent of lavender and honey. A very nice surprise! Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
swing top bottle (330ml). -Dark brown coloured, small beige head that went away fast, some berries nose with touch of wood. Very sweet fruity, caramel, figs and plums and quite syrupy taste. Alcohol is subdued but there’s no excuse for heavy sweetness. Not worth 133Kč that I’ve paid for it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample at the Eurostash tasting on 04/30/09: Bottle from the brewpub. The beer is a hazy ruddy brown color with a minimal off-white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark malt, plums and candy. Syrupy body with flavors of roasted malt, dark ripe fruit and caramel. The finish is boozy, sticky dark fruits and malt. Definitely a sipper, and not bad overall.
