Bottle. Wow! This one pours a really nice rubyred color. Aroma is flowery and fruity with some caramel and portwine notes. Taste is fruity and sweet with loads of caramell and vinious notes along with some roasted malt. Really good!

on tap at the brewery pours dark amber, tall tan head, good lacing. Sweet red wine aroma with a wood presence. Dark malt, sherry, and red wine flavors. Ends lingering on the sweet side. Some complex yeast and dark fruit in the finish. Silky mouth. The best beer I had in Prague.

It has a solid creamy beige head, murky and syrupy body and aroma filled with intensive fruitiness. Mostly blueberry, which reminds me to trappiste rochefort 10. In addition, plum and raisin notes in the aroma. Very sweet, oily flavour still with blueberries and a long aftertaste. Carbonation and alcohol was not felt at all. Commendable that it was served at room temperature. One of the best beers that i ever drink.

Thanks to MisoW for the bottle. Shared with ThirstyBird. The beer starts very intense, malt, but also fruit, sweetness, cherries. The mainpart is full flavoured, cherries, even wood, not too sweet and slightly bitter. The aftertaste is long, a bit sour, cherries, fruity, malty sweetness. --> great slightly sour beer!! --> 13/12/13/13

Very nice, it was very sweet, but very strong, not drinkable alone, it is said. It is not really a Pilsener, it is dark, not black, more like "purple", I’m not sure of the alcohol percentage, but they say is the strongest int he world.

Draft - Very well served beer with a red-brown body and a huge beautiful light brown head; Huge and very balanced malty berry nose, fresh and old leather, lots of red berries, ripe cherry, sugary strawberry jam, lots of vanilla like barrel aromas, a full malty alcohol warm part is present and balances the fruits perfectly; Super soft a little to thick oily textured body, very very little sharp prickling carbonation, bitter, sweet and slightly ripe cherry fruity acidy; Super long warm finish with a beautiful alcohol burn, lots of red berry aroma and a very pleasant late malty warm soft slightly bitter touch. It seems like the draft-version is very different from the bottled-version. I think the draft version beer that I had would be a beer that would age remarkably.

Aroma thick – rose , marmalade , plums with smooth wrap of alcohol. Pleasant clean fruity floral nose. 8-
Appearance hazed amber-garnet look with medium lighter , thick creamy top. 4+
Flavor and Palate : Full bodied. Soft clean character. Initially alcohol is hardly noticeable. Sublime without intensity punch. Floral dash with fruity feel of plums finishing easy smoothness. Its strength will be noted in your head as you realize this one makes you drunk very quickly. Dangerously drinkable heavyweight.

2009 vintage bottle. Thanks to KyotoLefty. Cinnamon, lots of licorice, sweetened wine, and buttery nose. Reddish-brown color, flat and slick. Tart fruit initial; mid is has a rich sweetnesss and citrus fruit; final is buttery, cheesy, and finishes somehow dry. Medium-thick body. Wow! Very sharp all around and so complex.
