(Draught) Pours yellow to golden. The aroma is light wheaty, light grassy and herbal hoppy with light notes of bread dough, toast, and fudge. The flavour is wheaty/toasted malty with some light tones of hops. Light bitter and light to medium sweet. The mouthfeel is smooth, soft and almost velvety. Medium bodied.

On tap. Hazy golden with a creamy off-white head. Vague yeasty aroma. Medium body with very sweet malts, a soft mouthfeel and some yeasty accents. Finishes dry. 280608

on tap at the brewpub. Cloudy pale yellow, large white head. Full-bodied, wheaty and yeasty with a pleasant malt body. Quite hoppy fopr a Hefeweizen, which is really pleasant. Saaz hops combined with this style of beer works perfectly for me. One of the best Hefeweizens I’ve ever tried.

1.5-liter bottle courtesy of Pivero — many thanks, amigo. Pours a very cloudy golden amber with a long-lasting, puffy white head. I’m getting some unexpected toffee notes in the nose, followed by atypical spice (not clove) and not too much banana. In the mouth, it is surprisingly malty and rich, finishing quite sweet. A rare beer by any standards, and something I’d definitely like to try again. Like, why don’t I have ten of these bottles in the gimp room?

[on tap at brewpub] Fresh sourness from the wheat comes through in the nose. Hazy dark yellow covered by a nice dense sheet. Smooth and refreshing with good sweetness that is not quite evened out by bitterness. Medium body, clean finish.

Hazy golden with a small, but lasting white head. Fruity aroma with a little banana, plus undefined yeasty aroma. Sweet flavour, full body, but a foul yeasty astringency.

(6/28/08) Draught at the brewpub in Stříbro. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is quite weak but has some wheat and fruitiness. Sweetish-tart flavor with wheat, some banana and spices, and some not-too-pleasant light bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body.

Draught at the brewpub - RBESG. Cloudy orange/amber - white head. Wheaty, light yeasty, fruity, orange, light hoppy, flowery. A bit strange.
