Tap. Pours light hazy honey amber with huge creamy head. Aroma is roasted malt and hops with notes of caramel, milk, lemon, milk chocolate and hazelnuts. Taste is medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light to medium acidic. Body is round and milky with light fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and syrupy with notes of lemon, caramel, toffee, nuts and hints of sweet licorice. Very nice!

on tap at the brewery with mowbeer, passinng time before prague alefest. a fair old attempt at a maerzen, if perhaps showing signs of being consumed a fair while after oktoberfest. clear amber with plenty of carbonation; aroma of green peppercorns with plenty of diacetyl; plenty of strawberry and rhubarb jam sweetness, buttered toast then a modestly bitter finish. better than that may sound

(draught) pours a clear deep golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops, light cardboard, caramel, wheat and butter. flavour is buttered popcorn, slightly wheaty, with a hint of floral hops and the idiosyncratic tart gooseberry finish. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.
