Bottom-fermented lager with a deep reddish color, woody aftertaste with a bit of toffee. This combination gives to beer taste, light and significant body. We recommend it with duck and beef dishes.

Spodně kvašený ležák, který Vás potěší sytě načervenalou barvou a překvapí otevřenou chutí sladu a dřevitým dozníváním s trochou karamele. Tato kombinace dodává chuti piva lehké a výrazné tělo. Doporučujeme k pokrmům z kachny a hovězího masa. Opravdu zajímavé pivo!

(Draught at U Tří Růží, Prague, 18 July 2013) Ruby red colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with nuts, dark bread and dried fruit. Malty taste with notes of toast, dried fruit, dark bread, raisins and treacle toffee. Gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark ruby with a huge frothy off-white head. Aroma of dusty malts, light fruits. Taste is light sweet, some light bitter wood towards the end, creamy mouthfeel, not impressed.
