turbothy (580), Nørrebronx, Denmark May 10, 2008 Bottled. Pours unclear brown with a large head. Interesting sweet taste, but ultimately a very thin beer. mgoy (263), Oak Brook, Illinois, USA Mar 15, 2008 Uberach Doigt de Dieu is a murky amber color. The head is initially uncontrollable, however, soon settles into a very nice off-white/caramel color. The aroma is sweet and exciting, notes of apples and spice are present. The flavor is very weak and overly spoiled. The rest of the drink is mainly water. Like everything else I have tried from Uberach, the appearance and aroma made me excited for the beer and the flavor was very disappointing.

Sweet, malty, some spices. Apples.
Dryness in the finish. MiP (4805), Flensburg, Germany Feb 7, 2007 Bottle, 4.8%. Fruity and yeasty aroma. Hazy copper colour. The flavour is slightly sweet and yeasty, with both citric and sweet fruits. There is also some caramel and yeast notes in the flavour. Aftertaste of mildly roasted malt. Not bad considering ABV. tiggmtl (4157), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sep 14, 2006 Honey and wild flowers are apparent in the aroma along with some fresh malt character though there is a lightly sour undertone. Hazy orange-copper coloured body is topped by a low tan head that recedes to partial cover. Soured honey flavour is moderately bitter with lasting cardboard oxidation. Medium light body with fairly low carbonation. Mondial 2006.
