Brown body and minimal foamy head. Burned malts, toast, odd yeast. Simple brown malty body, roasted, very short ending. I like the super roasted malts, quite simple interesting, like almost burned toast, but the body is watery and ending too short. Ugly too. (50cl bottle from La Cave à Bulles)

13/11 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured hazy brown body with medium sized brown head of lighter hue. Aroma of coffee and wood. Same in the flavor, which was bittersweet itself, lot of peat as well, just as in its long finish. Medium bodied. Rather simple but efficient smoked porter which has more smoked character than many beers on the site designed as "smoked".

Bottled 500ml. -found at Galeries Lafayette, Paris, France. Shared with Marko and heavy. Deep brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, some caramel in the nose. Light roasted malt, milk chocolate and caramel with nutty notes in mild roasty finish. Pretty nice.

Oh look, didn’t have anything from Uberach before, cool. Ogi’s. Poured a murky brownd body with a small off-white head. Quite lovely. Spicy dusty caramel nose, slightly sweet dark malts. Light smoky roasty taste, creamy burnt malt, light beets. Better than expected really, good job.

Backlog from Paris autumn 2011 Bottle from Lafayette Dark color, ok foam Medium body & complexity Surprising to see that it is a porter, as I didnt notice while drinking it Pretty decent

Bottle from La Fayette, Paris. Nice head with short duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are nuts, caramel, roast malt and hops. More like a brown ale than a porter.

Pours a depp dark brownish black color. Aromas of chocolate, a touch of nut, and smoke. Flavor is bittersweet, smoke and woody. Kind of watery.

Good beige, slowly collapsing head over cola-coloured beer. Dark malts, greenery, green leaves, slightly roasted caramel, but lightly so. Quite roasted taste, roasted chestnut, even a bit woody, and a faint lactiness. Medium bodied, grist slickness; long-lasting slickness, even oily film on the mucoses. Quite acceptable beer, and balanced at that. Many thanks to Stef!

Darker brown coloured beer with a small off-white head and average carbonation. Herby malty and roasted strong aroma. FUll palate. Finish is coffee malty and roasted. Rather medium porter.
