maeib (4418), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jun 4, 2008 Bottled. Gushed on opening but hen poured headless, and very muddy orange. A funky nose with some sugary notes, and a lot of yeast. More yeast in the taste with some citrus fruits and more funky hoppiness. An oddball of a beer.
yespr (10088), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 5, 2008 33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a diminishing white head. Light wheaty and caramel malty aroma. Light caramelish and wheaty flavoured with a mild yeasty touch. Caramelish and light yeasty finish. JorisPPattyn (4922), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 25, 2008 Gushing to fully hazy straw-yellow beer; medium, persistent white head. Grainy-malty nose, coriander, yeast-esters, lightly infected (Pedio?) I strongly suspect. Dry spicy, estery and again somehow sub-infected flavours, yeast (...) determined. Medium bodied, very spritzy, grist slickness. Not really convincing, La Klintz. Thanks, Stefaan. fiulijn (6720), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 2, 2008 Bottle at Le Quincampe, Paris Cloudy deep blond color; poor head, too fizzy. Medium dry mouthfeel, not much flavor, some residual sugars, a bit fruity and spicy, and with traces of yeast. Very low bitterness. A simple Blond Ale.
