Geiserich (1526), Vienna, Austria Feb 15, 2006 Bottled:
Light floral and sourly aroma, light notes of citrus. Hazy yellow orange color. Light to medium bodied, flavor of honey, oranges with spicy notes, yeasty. Light fruity. To light bodied and watery, but all in all a quite nice drink. joss (3081), Garching b. München, Germany Dec 7, 2005 Bottle - as Biere Blonde de la Ferme du Kalblin
Grainy, slightly citric, heather aroma.
Hazy orange golden, low head, low visible carbonation.
Reasonably fullbodied, honeyish earthy/spongy notes, peachy when the yeast is added, flat mouthfeel.
Papery fruit and heather aftertaste maeib (3816), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Nov 26, 2005 Bottled. A cloudy orange coloured beer with no head. The aroma is sweetish and a little peppery. The taste is sweet with orange notes. A thin mouthfeel with straw like tastes. Not nearly as good as the other Uberachs I’ve drunk. Papsoe (9771), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 2, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, orangey - almost no head, but lots of carbonation - typically Uberach. Sweetish honey aroma. But no real traces of honey in the flavour. Actually this hasn’t much flavour at all. A bit of bitterness in the finish, and then nothing more. Quite disappointing. 160403 jfm (1560), Holbæk, Denmark Jul 16, 2004 Hazy orange color with no head. The taste is wtaery with some ugly fruity notes. Slight citrusy palate.
