On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed, brown colored body with an inch thick, frothy, tan head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is nutty and toasty with a light sweetness, some DMS, raisins, and a light bread. Flavor is similar. Slightly nutty and toasty with a bit of a roast note, some raisin-bread, DMS, and grains. Finishes clean and somewhat dry before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent dunkel. A slight off-flavor note with the DMS, but not bad.

On draught at the brewpub ("nano" 20cl size). This brew pours dark brown with some orange around the edges. Medium light beige head that diminishes quickly, and short strings of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel and a touch of hops. Light body with a caramel malt character and flavors of mild hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a toasted malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

draught at Lällekönig Basel with Allen. Hazy brown colour, small off-white head. Soirush nose with hints of caramel. Sourish flavours dominate (berries, currant), shy hints of caramel and chocolate in the far background. Not my kind of Dunkel.
