Uerige Alt Nicht Filtriert

Bottled at PBF. Hazy copper brown color. Malty and honeyish aroma. Dry malty and bitter flavor with some yeastiness. Tastes artisanal.

Bottled at PBF. Cloudy nut brown, rich lively head. Roasty and fruity. Very salty with light-medium body, soft moutheel. Dry and heavily hoppy with quite aggresiive resiny bitterness. Not at all as good as the stuff from the wood, but that goes without saying. Good altbier doesn’t travel.

Bottled flip-top (PBF). Murky brown-yellow color, small white head, some head. Grassy hoppy aroma. Quite hoppy and tasty. Long bitterness in the aftertaste. Lively carbonation. Good one.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Amber colour, mediumsized white head Aroma is wooden, a bit yeasty, some bready notes as well as some grassy notes. Flavour is grassy, malty, yeasty and a bit bready.

(50cl bottle, Nicht Filtriert version) Pours a murky amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toasted bread, light florals, grass, and grain. Flavor of caramel, toasted malt, hops (earthy, grass, light herbal), and yeast.

Hmmm...the regular cask alt at the brewpub can’t be filtered, so I don’t get it. Hazy dull amber. Toasty, with some slight mushroomy oxidation. Hoppy, dry, yeasty and toffee-accented malts. Firm, assertive and quite dry.

[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Unclear light to medium brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, hop dusty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and shell bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is has a light metalic bitterness. A very nice beer good and hoppy german beer, aroma is wek but the flavor is super ;o).
